Clover Fork Pins, 1

Very disappointed with these pins from Clover - they are not a patch on the red/orange flower head pins that come in packs of 20 (and funnily enough are much dearer!) - although they are relatively sharp they are too thick, don't slide in well enough, and the heads are not as well attached. Definitely no good for patchwork - might be ok for thicker fabrics but I wouldn't use them on cotton and will stick to the others in future, Should have known that 100 for this price would not be as good as the dearer ones, but still I expected better from Clover.

These pins are excellent and can easily be used in even the finest of materials pre-stitching. Personally, I have never had a problem sewing over these pins with my sewing machine. This is extremely useful when achieving perfect points and joins in patchwork projects. I have also ironed over them on the hottest heat setting and the glass heads remain in perfect condition. The only slight downside is that due to their fineness they will bend easily if used in thicker fabrics .... but you can re-straighten them. Or buy some more of course because they are well worth it.

The 35 fork pins I received came complete with a good quality , small plastic box which has a strong clip fastener, so no need to find a suitable tin or box to keep them in. Another reviewer said the pin ends were not straight / parallel but all of mine seem good. The pins are fine (thin) and will be good to use on flimsy and slippery fabrics. Not cheap but they seem good quality, as I expect from the Clover brand.

These little pins are amazing, very fine and sharp, excellent for fine fabrics. I found them exceptionally handy for curved seams and sleeve heads where you need to ease extra fabric into the curve. In the past I have always used lots of straight pins but these little beauties make the job so easy. Well worth the money.

Found out about these pins by accident, watching a youtube video about sewing. They looked so good, I rushed to my page and bought some. Now when I'm sewing I can really anchor things efficiently. Very pleased
