I purchased this cushion in anticipation of a cross country trip on a United Airlines flight (as A-320 plane) that had their new seats installed. I knew from my last flight that these seats are VERY uncomfortable. (I have a bad back to begin with and they removed a lot of the padding in the seat and back of the seats. And they shortened the seat bottom so it doesn't extend far enough to support your thighs towards you knees. After two hours I literally had tears streaming down my face.) I wish I could report that this cushion solved the problem. But sadly it did not. Frankly, I doubt anything could. However, I have used it at work on the stools we sit on (which have a back but not great lumbar support) and it was/is wonderful! It provides extra cushioning and helps position you so the stress on my back was greatly reduced. For the two days I used it before my flight I was in heaven. I had no back pain radiating down my leg, which usually happens by early afternoon and I can't get comfortable, sitting or standing. Needless to say, I will be using this at work from here on! The foam is firm but soft. I hadn't thought about it when I ordered it but it will lift you up higher in your seat. For me that turns out to be a bonus because our work tables are so high it will put me at a better distance from the work surface. Also nice was how quickly I recieced it. And It comes in a carrying case w/ small handles, so it doesn't get dirty if you take it from place to place I wish it could have saved me from the new United seats. Than again they never claimed it could work miracles.

Very good cushion. I bought it for my 80 year old mom, who has just had hip replacement. I can attest to the quality of the cushion: the memory foam is a good density: it molds but it is quite firm. The two covers have very nice construction and look like they will last. I love the option of the straps to secure to the chair, especially the fact that if you decide not to use them, the straps can be removed and the buckles that remain attached are not cumbersome or awkward. It comes with a convenient carrier bag, which my mom loves, because the main purpose of the cushion for her is to take it with her wherever she goes for the comfort it provides, but mainly because it raises whatever chair she sits on to a height that is comfortable and appropriate to the restrictions of this early phase of recovery from hip surgery. The memory foam is firm enough to provide that elevation and soft enough to remain comfortable. I really like the cushion and now that my mom has been using it for two weeks, I can confirm she loves it, too. She takes it everywhere with her and has become a life saver. The one time she left it behind at home, she suffered. She couldn't sit because the chair was hard and low. She had to stand and walk around (which she can do very well, but it is naturally tiring) until she was done with her errand. She uses it on all sorts of chairs and sofas and found it comfortable on all. She never feels unsafe. The cushion doesn't slide when she sits or while she is sitting, even without securing it (which she doesn't do because she can't bend comfortably to pass the strap under the chairs.) She is very active, and as I said, the purpose is to take the cushion with her. If she needed it to stay on one chair, we would secure it for her. Although the fact that it doesn't shift around makes that unnecessary even in that case. She likes both covers, but has been using the blue (light, greyish blue) velvety one. It's soft and very nice to the touch, and doesn't make her hot at all. She hasn't had to wash the covers yet, but she will when the time comes. I'll update the review if they suffer after the wash in any way. She has nothing but great things to say about the cushion. Before this one, we tried all the cushions we had in the house and none felt comfortable enough: too high, too low, gets too flat, too soft, too lumpy. I did a lot of research looking for a good cushion, taking into consideration all her requests. The reviews led me to this one and it has proven excellent. I also liked the fact that I received an email from the manufacturers as soon as I placed the order asking if I was pleased. I explained that it was for my mom and I'd write a review once she gave me her opinion, though so far I had liked what I saw. They seemed truly interested in our satisfaction, which is why I'm writing this review. I arrived at this cushion because of reviews and I want to do my part. There may be other good cushions out there; I haven't tried them. I was drawn to this one and I don't need to keep looking. It's perfect. I must say that my dad tried it and found it a bit too firm. He is bonier than my mom -and hasn't had surgery nor does he require seats to be of a certain height, which justifies his preference for softer rather than firmer and therefore higher. Obviously, people have different needs and preferences. If you are looking for a cushion that is well made, pretty enough and nice to the touch, with the convenience of removable straps and a carrier bag, and a good quality memory foam that retains the height while making it soft enough for comfort, THIS IS THE RIGHT CUSHION.

So I'm a big girl and I managed to bruise my tailbone about 2 years ago just by sitting on my big butt apparently. Since then I had just been using a baby bop as a donut seat. All was well enough till the last time I washed it and now its all lumpy and does me more harm than good. I bought this one based on the other reviews. Its been a month now. My tailbone still hurts, but not nearly as bad as it did before. I had to take pain pills before bed after sitting all day, now I don't. When I got it, it came in a bag (in the box). It was easy to strap into my chair. I rarely have to adjust my sitting and if I remember to sit up straight it definitely eases the stress to my tailbone. I would buy this one again. Its comfortable and soft and provides plenty of cushion.

Having finally used it on a 5 hour drive one way and back again, I can now say that the cushions thickness provides ample cushioning from the thickness and construction. The front to back dimension seemed to short for comfort in our mid-size SUV seat cutting into the back of my thigh above my knee. It is currently used at my computer desk in a smaller chair with greater comfort. Good product but needs to be sized to larger seats in cars being built today.

Great purchase, I can honestly say that after two months of using this cushion I no longer have symptoms of my sciatic. And the cushion is very comfortable. I did have problems with it sliding around as I would move. I put some Velcro on each corner and stays exactly where I want it to. Ce coussin est de très bonne qualité, très efficace pour atténuer ou retarder les douleurs(tout en bas de la colonne vertébrale lorsqu'on doit longtemps rester en position assise). De plus,il est livré avec une housse supplémentaire, une housse de rangement et est pourvu de courroies pour le fixer. Je pense en reprendre un prochainement. Peut-être offert à une personne ayant des douleurs dorsales ou opérée.

Es duro, pero no se aplasta como otros que hay en el Mercado, que son muy blanditos al principio pero en un rato son completamente planos. Este no se aplana, pero para mi gusto es un poco duro. Es de calidad, eso si.

Mentre scrivo ci sto seduta sopra. Ci speravo molto in questo prodotto, avendo una caterva di cuscini inutili e sedie buttate da parte dopo poco averle iniziate a usarle. Questo favoloso cuscino mi consente di risparmiare sull'acquisto di una nuova sedia che come immaginavo non era il problema. Il problema era la postura e la pressione sul coccige che questo cuscino corregge. Vi consiglio di abbinarlo a un cuscino lomare. Ben rifinito, dotato di fodera e di borsa per il trasporto, è rigido il giusto per essere efficace. L'ho provato su altre sedie oltre la mia solita, è meglio se sotto ha un sostegno rigido altrimenti si altera l'effetto. Nel mio caso, soffrendo di neuropatia agli arti infieriori, riducendo la pressione sul coccige ho un beneficio e soprattutto non assumo posture apparentemente antidolorifiche, tanto spontanee quanto aggravanti della mia condizione. Il beneficio si sente lungo tutta la colonna vertebrale in quanto migliora l'assetto dorsale e cervicale, l'allineamento e l'apertura del torace e delle spalle. Lo consiglio senza dubbio a coloro che soffrono di dolori erniali, neuropatici e artrosi alla colonna o agli arti. Niente fa miracoli e ci guarisce da una malattia che non ha guarigione ma, certamente, impedisce il peggioramento e consente di lavorare meglio e più a lungo. Personalmente non poter svolgere il mio lavoro alla scrivania con l'apparecchiatura necessaria era un incubo al quale ho finalmente trovato riparo.

I'm very relieved to have this cushion. I ordered it after experiencing coccyx pain and found it uncomfortable to sit down. It's extremely well made and you just know it's a quality cushion as soon as you touch it. It also has a removable cover which is very handy, along with removable straps should you wish to anchor it to a chair. I have to say that relief I feel when I use it is immediate and I wouldn't want to be without it. It's unique shape makes it so comfortable and I can highly recommend it.

recentemente afflitto da una forte sciatalgia, nel ricercare una sedia tipo "stokke" mi sono imbattuto in questo cuscino che a detta di molte recensioni promette miracoli lo sto usando da pochi giorni quindi la valutazione può solo esser limitata, per il momento posso dire che aiuta nella seduta e allevia un po la sofferenza ma non fa miracoli, nel senso che nei giorni in cui il dolore è maggiore comunque dopo un po bisogna comunque alzarsi nel complesso cpertanto posso dire che se qualcuno ha lo steso problema è un aiuto per ora non mi sembra risolutivo ma è meglio che niente data anche la spesa non eccessiva
