Are these good for sidewalks

can't say , this would be kind of expensive for side walks. I they are Sofer than sidewalk chock . Great for all kinds of paper .

Can these be used on chalkboards ? Will they erase off chalkboard?

I’m not sure but I would say probably not. I imagine they’d leave a permanent residue. I use them ground up as a powder on plastic surfaces. But as an intact crayon, they are very vibrant and stuck to the surface. Use traditional black board chalk instead.
