Basic Instinct 4K UHD Collector's Edition

This movie looks fantastic. Especially in the dark interior scenes, you can really see the uptick in image quality from any previous video release. As far as sound goes, it's "only" a 5.1 DTS-MA mix, but the 5 speakers are taken full advantage of in the ominous soundtrack, as well as the scenes in the rain and the scenes in the club. All the information above regarding the extras package is correct. It also comes with a few postcards, a poster, and a nice booklet with writing on the making of the movie. Very nice edition. Expensive, but hard to top.

An absolute modern classic. Superb thriller, good story, script and acting. Definitely one to watch.Excellent box set, how it should be done, booklet, poster, art cards. Ideal for the collector

This is a review off the 4k collector's edition. The new transfer is excellent and a huge improvement over previous blu ray and dvd releases. Included is a new making of feature which is informative. The packaging is a strong box, initially I was disappointed they didn't have the original poster as the cover. But in person this version looks much better than on images as it has a gloss front to it. Recommended, especially if a fan of the film.

I know the film is fine, item arrived damaged. Not happy!!!! Amazon packaging shockingly poor and does no provide adequate protection for the item being shipped.
