Review: Spider-Man is Good to Collect - It was worth the wait to finally receive the Amazing Spider-Man graphic comic. The illustrations and storylines were done very well throughout the book. Review: A very nice way to read the original Spider-Man’s - Steve Ditko’s Spider-Man comics are some of the greatest superhero comics ever made and this new trade paperback series is a very fun and affordable presentation. I’ve bought these for my elementary school aged step-brother and think these books are a great way to introduce this material to younger readers. In the past there have been increasingly pricy hardcovers or cheaper black and white books reprinting these comics but neither is right for a child reader who needs something colorful, and cheap enough that it’s not going to be a problem if they trash it.

Lee and Ditko's Original Spidey Run Is Still the Best!
Everything great about Spider-Man and his alter-ego, the bookish teen Peter Parker, is right here in Lee and Ditko's Silver Age stories. I have nothing negative to say about the content as a lifelong Spidey fan. I will say, I wish the book was the size of a Marvel Epic Collection, as this Mighty Marvel Masterwork is a tad on the small side. A minor nitpick.

Features first appearance of iconic spider-man rogues like green goblin, kraven, mysterio and the infamous sinister six. Not the best writing but the action makes up for it must read for spider-man fans

Excellent Collection of the First Spider-man Stories!
These first stories of Spider-man introduce characters that have withstood the test of time! They are great for all ages and especially child-friendly. The dialogue is a decent amount, especially compared with modern-era comics that often lack any meaningful writing. There is still use of improper spelling, ie "thru", but overall the grammar and spelling are good. The art is detailed and the modern printing allows the colours to be bright and vibrant and the pages are clearly remastered (not the original 4 tone). Visually it is impressive and I am sure comics publishers would have only dreamed of having the art as beautiful as in these volumes.
