Great to baby proof a home
I originally bought these from a different vendor and I've had those latches in use for a little bit over a year. Then I needed more to baby proof the kitchen so I got them from a different vendor, but they are the same as the first ones I bought and they have worked great so far. They are really easy to install and easy to use. Pros and cons based on my experience are listed below so you can make your own mind about it. As for me, I would definitely buy them again. Pros: - They are adjustable, just cut the plastic to the size you need. - Good for little kids to stay out of the cabinets. Even when I leave one open my daughter loves to walk by and close it herself (she is 20 months). - Very practical so when you only have one hand available, you still can open and close them easily. - Easy to use for everyone. They are super easy for grandma to use. I bought other latches for which you need to bend down and use two hands to unlock and they were hard on grandma's back. She is so happy that I switched to these ones. - Easy to install. - Can be installed in various surfaces. I used them for the toilets, dressers, stove, and cabinets (see photos). I am also planning on using them for the fridge, washer, and drier once the kids are older. - Can be removed without leaving any residue behind. To remove you can just use a hair dryer and something flat (I used a butter knife to avoid leaving marks). Make sure you use the hair dryer for enough time otherwise you will be left having to remove some sticky residue manually. - Can reuse since it comes with additional 3M tape. Plus you can just buy your own 3M tape if you run out. (this is also a con, see below) Cons: - One of the latches keeps falling of my cabinets (I bought more from a different vendor so I don't know if this is the one that falls or the other, but since I have about 20 latches in use, one not sticking is not a big deal) - The removing part can be tricky and tedious: (1) You have to use a hair dryer for about 4 to 5 minutes to remove each sticky side so about 8 to 10 minutes to remove just one latch. (2) Prior to removing you have to make sure the latches are closed, otherwise they will become unusable. I removed one while open and I couldn't close it again. (3) Once you remove them for the first time, the part where you adjust the length gets a little lose so it is easier to open. I am not sure when the kids will figure this out, but I am assuming once they are a little bigger they will and I may have to replace them for new ones.

Secure and sturdy door locks
These plastic door locks are excellent! They are very sturdy and keep my children from opening doors they shouldn’t. Easy to install and remove when needed, and they give me peace of mind knowing my kids are safe. Highly recommend for any parent!

Plan before you buy
Product Review: Child Safety Strap Locks As a parent, especially one of a neurodivergent child, safety and peace of mind are top priorities. I recently purchased these child safety strap locks with the intention of preventing my autistic child from accessing the basement unsupervised. The installation was simple and the initial functionality was exactly as promised—secure, subtle, and easy for adults to unlock. However, I quickly learned an important caveat: children are incredibly observant. After watching how the locks were operated just a few times, they were able to mimic the process with surprising accuracy. Additionally, while the adhesive and construction are adequate for light use, the locks did not hold up against the strength and determination of my 4-year-old. Within a few attempts, he was able to open the door regardless of the lock. Pros: – Easy to install – Sleek and discreet design – Effective as a deterrent for very young children Cons: – Not suitable for strong or particularly curious toddlers – Not tamper-proof if children observe the unlocking process – May not withstand forceful pulling or pushing Overall: These strap locks are a good short-term or light-use solution for families with infants or very young toddlers. However, for children on the spectrum or those with higher physical strength and curiosity, a more robust safety solution may be required. I recommend pairing these with additional measures or using them in less high-risk areas.

Good for cats!
I had to get these for cats who like to get into cabinets that they shouldn’t get into, and it works really well and they are unable to figure out how to get in.

Works Well Easy To Install
Bought these to keep my grandson safe when he visits. They work great and are easy to install. They are very versatile. They can be installed on drawers, cabinets or my grandson’s favorite the trash cab lid.

These are great buuuut ...
These are great but they adhesive doesn't hold up as well as I expected , which is disappointing. They're easy to install , but also easy to pull off apparently. My three and four year olds have demolished the ones I ordered. 😞

After a month of using these, 4 out of 5 have failed. And the only one that hasnt failed is the one on the garbage bin which is a touchless open. Either the clips break, or the adhesive is too weak and my 11 month old just rips the door open anyways. Moms, Dads, just go with the name brand ones. These ones ain't it.

Life saver! Easy to use, doesn’t leave stains/glue or any mark on the furniture when removed and keep our toddler away. Recommended!

I liked these when they first arrived and they do work. Two problems though. 1. The sticky tape isn't great. Ok for infrequently used drawers, but won't last on the ones used every day. 2. They can come apart into small pieces which could be hazardous. This is a big issue for something that is supposed to be a child safety product. I do not recommend. You should go to a reputable store and something else.
