I bought these units so I could easily speak to my husband when he is out working in the garage and I'm in the house. We were using Alexa via our Echo devices but since the wireless signal in the garage isn't that great, the communication would often drop or not work at all. I liked the looks of these because not only can we add additional devices, they don't use the wireless network at all, making them much more reliable.The product came well packaged and the instructions were easy to follow and set up. Additionally, I purchased these over other products because I've dealt with this seller before and they have some of the best customer service I've come across since moving to the UK. Originally from the US, we are VERY customer support focused and I was quite shocked at the lack of it at times here in the UK. However, HOSMART has always been very responsive and easy to work with... I highly recommend them and their products!!

I bought this to be sure of an "open channel" between the house and the potting shed at the bottom of the garden. A certain person keeps forgetting their mobile phone and this mains / usb powered solution saves a lot of energy and arguments. If it suits a battery can be added and charged in the units. It is very straightforward to set up and use, the instructions are four short paragraphs. The signal is good without distortion. We'll also use it to monitor our grandchildren playing in the other room. In fact, there are so many ways it will come in useful - calling down for coffee, or more paracetamol.I already have two Hosmart driveway alarms so I bought with confidence.
