Review: A Delightful, Delectable, DELICIOUS Read - Stars So Sweet, the final installment of Tara Dairman’s riveting trilogy, was not a disappointment. The book had the perfect balance between approachable familiarity for all of us who’ve ever survived—or are currently in—oh god that’s me—middle school (the group with a strange affinity for gross foods, that one girl nobody likes, having no classes with friends, et cetera) and the unknown, foreign flavors, such as that one spice that comes in the aftertaste you weren’t expecting (Charissa’s crush...more on that later) and that general air of being a twelve year old food critic, which tends to be unfamiliar. The characters, were, as always, well baked. I mean developed. Fiona Inglethorpe and her dressing habits? I was tickled pink! Sorry, had to make that joke. In actuality, Fiona annoyed me for the majority of the book, being as I’m an eleven year old with quite the sophisticated palate, if I do say so myself. Actually, I would have gone on and on about everything I liked. But then I was reading through other reviews. And there were a few reviews—four, to be precise—that made me quite angry. They were about - SPOILER ALERT DON’T READ UNTIL IT SAYS NO MORE SPOILERS - Charissa Bentley having a crush on Parminder Singh. This is clearly not appropriate material for a children’s book. Dousing your kids in politics isn’t good for them. It was the WRONG ROMANCE. If you’re nodding along to what I wrote, please read the rest of this. And if you want to kill me after reading that...heh relatable. After reading Stars So Sweet, I think we can all agree that Gladys and Hamilton have...mutual feelings for one another. Obviously, that’s alright to put in a middle grade novel. Girls liking boys and boys liking girls is “normal”. That’s what I read between the lines of these reviews I mentioned. But if you think for a second? Girls that like girls also have crushes on middle school. Many friends of mine are LGBTQ+, and we’re only in sixth grade. So don’t shelter your kids from that enough that they are “very upset” when they read one paragraph about Charissa Bentley’s romance interest. - NO MORE SPOILERS - Now that the venting is out, let’s just agree that this was a terrific book and be on our way. I grant it all four stars—or five, whichever the situation calls for. Review: Thank you!!! - This book deserves 5 stars. For all the “ Fodies” as Gladys would this is the perfect book. With sweet and delightful tasted but with a hint of sourness makes the best book. Stars so Sweet An all four stars book hit the target perfectly. This book is the most outstanding! This book has changed my life! I love cooking too so 8 could really connect to Gladys. Even if you aren’t a “ foodie” you will love this book. In conclusion it equals up to 5 stars out of 5.

This book deserves 5 stars. For all the “ Fodies” as Gladys would this is the perfect book. With sweet and delightful tasted but with a hint of sourness makes the best book. Great Book Series
This book series is great for middle schoolers. My daughter and I read it together and tore through all three books quickly. Fun and well written.

They book was amazing. I would recommend this book to people who like to cook or like food or just like reading like me. My friend read this book and I thought I wouldn't like it. Then 2 months later I read it and loved it. You should read the series.

Really good endging quarter, The starting is a bit uneasy p, and the middle gets a bit boring p, with not much progress, but the end really pays off.

This book rouses the senses in every possible way and educates the young mind to develop the palate at a young age. A book which deserves five stars, not four.

All the books in this series
I have the whole series of this book including 'ALL FOUR STARS' ,'STARS OF SUMMER' and ' 'STARS SO SWEET'. They are just awesome and however, being a 10 year young girl, I just can't express how much I like it.
