Love these stickers!
These sunscreen stickers have worked wonderfully for my kids! They make it so much easier to keep track of when it’s time to reapply, especially when we’re outside all day. They stick well, are easy to use, and my kids actually think they’re fun. Definitely a great little reminder for busy sunny days!

They work great— pay attention to application directions!
The first time we tried this product out, we couldn’t get them to work. Like, 2 minutes in the sun and it showed we needed to reapppy. I joked with my wife that “big sunscreen” was up to something.Lo and behold we ended up getting burned. Turns out sunscreen can expire, and it just so happened our tube was past it’s date! We tried again with a new tube and it worked. These are a life saver with kids and we 100% will include them on our packing list in the future.

An extremely nifty gadget that works upon following directions.
I was very impressed with this UV Detection stickers. The most important thing to know about this is A. FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS! and B. They work better with sunscreen CREAM / LOTION vs. the spray stuff. I have used it with both. The spots themselves are very adhesive (especially on clean skin) and will last a whole day of sun / water activities. I used them for our field day (I'm a teacher) and recently on a cruise vacation and if anything, they are a great physical reminder to apply sunscreen. So directions state that you must cover the spot and let it sit for 30 seconds FIRST, then rub it in with the rest of your sunscreen. Then you step out into the sun and it should change color. (I didn't realize this at first. When I was in my house, it was still purple, but it immediately changed upon stepping outside of my house.) As I mentioned, lotion works better than spray - the ones I cover with sunscreen lotion tend to get pretty clear, but spray sunscreen stays a very light purple - hence why the four stars. (If they can improve the technology to respond better to spray sunscreen, I would give it five stars! Although, maybe I should reconsider using spray sunscreen...) That is also important to remember for the level of UV protection - a sunscreen with a lower SPF will never turn your spot fully clear, you need at least a 40 to see that protection (and that is what doctors recommended anyway.)Once applied, my spot never returned fully purple - it would gradually become more of a deep magenta, but again, perhaps it was because I was reapplying. In any event, a great purple for those of us who tend to burn under the rays of the sun!

Doesn't work will all sunblock
I had high hopes for this product but I don't understand fully how it should work. You open the package and the stickers are already purple even though they in a sealed package where UV rays can't hit it. Then regardless of how I put it on it NEVER goes clear. Not sure how something plastic is supposed to absorb something that is liquid?!If I'm doing something wrong then IMBTA but put it on in sun, or inside, then cover with sunscreen and it stays purple.**UPDATE**Tried again with a different sunblock and the stickers went clear. So the issue is this product doesn't work with all sunblock. It appears the Zinc based one I was using doesn't work but a spray on one that doesn't use a lot of Zinc did. Updated this review but leaving at 3 stars as I think this should be stated in the product info.

Doesn't work. Not waterproof.
Horrible. I stuck it on like it says to do. I put sunscreen over it like it says to do. It fell off while putting on sunscreen. I found it on the boat floor and put it back on. It stayed purple the 4 hours we were on the lake (1300-1700). I had it on my beer holding arm, so it wasn't going in the water much. The one time I put that arm in the water (right before we left), it came off and floated away. Don't make sunscreen dots that aren't waterproof... would not recommend. I got super burned, and it stayed purple the whole time.

Practical and easy to use
I think they are very practical for sunny days. They are easy to apply and help you know when it is time to reapply the sunscreen. I like its design and how easy it is to understand the color change. A useful idea to enjoy the outdoors more carefully.

Great for fair skin
I have the fairest skin that burns sooo quickly. These stickers are so great to have on hand to make sure I don't burn and reapply sunscreen when needed. They are a life-saver!

A clever little reminder
These sunscreen stickers are such a fun and practical idea, especially for long days at the beach, pool or outdoors. I love having a visual reminder to pay attention to sun protection, instead of constantly wondering when I last applied sunscreen. They’re small, convenient, and easy to incorporate into a day outside. Of course, they’re not a substitute for sunscreen or following the recommended application schedule, but they are a handy extra reminder. Because apparently my skin needs a personal assistant to remind me to reapply.

Really great
Unfortunately we only used 2 spots from this large pack as on the first day the cleaners stole them from our hotel room. The one day we used them they were great. So much so because of these stickers we went through 4 bottles of sun cream in 9 days. They really make you aware of how quickly your sun cream comes off. We were in Turkey with temperatures of 36-40 degrees, because of these spots we didn’t burn at all. They might seem expensive but I think 100% worth it, just so you don’t burn. They go really clear where you can’t see them then bright purple. Just wish we had a chance to use them on our holiday.

Wish I had these in the past
So after a holiday abroad and the good weather back home, I used these every day and my LB has never burned. Pop one on in the morning before going in the sun and apply sun cream as usual and the spot will go clear then we are good to go! I wish I had know about these sooner! What I really love is that my LB is more aware of sun safety and will actually ask for more cream on if he notices the colour begin to change. Before it was like wrestling with an octopus getting him to put it on 🤣. Definitely recommend and have to my family and friends as well as anyone who asked “what is that wee spot?” 👌🏻

I think they work…
I tried this for my holiday this year. It did work as in it went clear then purple but it switched extremely quickly like 20mins after i lathered 50++ sunscreen on top as the instructions requested. It also does not stay on in the water which is honestly what I was looking for to know when to reapply at pool or beach. I think it would work for day walking trips or every day life but if you’re getting in water don’t even bother trying.

I get very bad sunburns every year. Bought these for Glasto and they were amazing. Didn’t fall off like I expected they would. Ended up giving them out to mates as well and we were all so shocked at how well they work!! Great little stickers that I’ll deffo buy again!
