Far exceeded my expectations!
This guitar is a really good buy new at $115. It's an absolute steal used at $36 !!! Yeah, only $36!!! It's insane. Feels like I got it for free. I bought this guitar used as a beater instrument to leave in my office and not worry about. I'm absolutely blown away at the sound. I'm not a guitar master or anything but I have been playing for about 7 or 8 years now. The build quality is definitely not in the caliber of any of the well know brands but there is something impressive about the choice in materials. It's solid and feels good in the hand even though it's not made of top parts. That said the sound is amazing. The notes are a bit bright but very, very full. And while it's a small guitar, it doesn't sound like that at all. If anything, it might be a bit too full for some. I currently own full-sized Guild and Ovation guitars. I've also owned a Baby Taylor and Mitchell travel guitars, both bought second hand. Physically, this guitar falls in-between the larger and smaller guitars on both size and sound. Sounds better than the Mitchell. On par (maybe better) with my Ovation. Not as good as the Taylor or Guild. I easily recommend this guitar for anyone looking for a smallish travel guitar or first guitar for a kid. My only recommendation would be to change to higher quality strings. I put on some medium D'Addario bronze strings and the results are amazing!

Do Not Buy
Absolute unplayable garbage with buzzing frets. This is not even suitable for a child.

Great playing guitar once you replace the cheapest thinnest strings known to mankind!
This guitar showed up adequately packed, since it was winter, the guitar needed a day or so to acclimate and a slight turn of the truss rod (wrench was included). The pickup and EQ do there job. With a fresh set of strings and a light setup this is a great budget guitar to learn, practice on or to go play an open mic or something.

Beautiful
I bought this guitar as a gift for a friend. They loved the guitar's design and quality considering its price. I think I'll buy another one for myself after this because this looks and sounds great.

Eleca California Stratocaster...WORST EVER GUITAR ?
Horrible quality, bad tuning machines, horrible playability. uncomfortable frets , horrible action. Buzzing... Not worth the 100 dollars I paid. I wasn't expecting much from a cheap strat copy.... But this buzzes so much and feels so bad it totally unplayable. And for a brand new guitar that just sucks. Could've spent the money on gas. And it's not worth returning to china or going through that whole hassle.
