Using these to label Romes 12 gage wire on a new house construction project. Very pleased with this product. There is one major drawback. It has nothing to do with this product but the Brother P-Touch. The design caused massive waste of the tape. Brother has multiple solutions but if you are printing one label at a time you will waist over 1/2 inch of tape on every label. Brother needs to fix this.

First the bad. Brother uses notches on the side and bottom of the cartridge to determine what type/size/color is loaded into the label maker. These are missing one notch, and appear to the machine as a white on black regular label. You'll need to use a razor or exacto to put the one missing notch in th cartridge. See the picture I've attached. The good? They printed great, better than the brother branded ones actually. Text is very dark and easy to read. Plus the price is amazing, literally 1/5 the cost per cartridge as the name branded ones. Would be a 5 star, but I had to figure out what was wrong and fix it, so only 4.

The product is sold as 8.8mm. That is the flat distance, not the tube diameter. This tube is 2.8mm diam or .110" Not 8.8mm diamter as other heatshrink is sold.
