FoodSaver VS0150 Sealer PowerVac Compact Vacuum Sealing Machine, Vertical Storage, Black

The first one I ordered didn’t work. Ordered a replacement and this one works excellent. It has a great vacuum and does a good job of sealing. We had a more expensive Foodsaver with a bag holder, bag cutter, etc, but I prefer this one because you don’t have to cut the bags overly large in order to get them to seal. Over all have always been happy with Foodsaver Vacuum sealing machines and actually like the space saving and simplicity of this one. We don’t need bag storage or a built in cutter.

1. Nowhere in the description or photos does it even mention that this isn't wired for Australian power or have an Australian plug. 2. The package had obviously been opened and repacked. There were no instructions or even basic safety information included 3. The whole thing just feels cheap and like a bad rip off product rather than a genuine FoodSaver???

It takes some getting used to. For those that think it doesn't close and it's broken ( which I did too, its very different from my previous food saver) follow these instructions: you need to close EACH SIDE SEPARATELY. Push down on EACH SIDE until it clicks in ( you will hear it) then, the lights will come on and it operates as described. To release when finished, press the release tabs on the side of the machine. Okay, first off, this is significantly more work than my old one ( which still works but is losing suction) which you simply placed in open, closed the bag in place, and hit lock. I bought that one in 2020 and loved it. This version is more expensive, so I'm surprised at the extra steps. You should be able to close the machine down and start it. Why they designed this one with having to press each side down to lock is an absolute mystery to me lol however, this one works excellent, vacuum seals great, heat seals great, it just takes some getting used to if you're used to the press it down and go older model.I hope this helps someone who thought theirs was broken and I want to make others aware that it's not as "simple" as it claims to be.

So easy to use. Helps prepare meals in advance and save space. Even good for sending package by mail and save money because it takes smaller boxes.
