Minka-Aire F588-SP-WH Ultra-Max 54 Inch Ceiling Fan in White Finish

Installation - An electrical module was included in the parts which was not included in the instructions/parts list. This rendered the fan DOA. After speaking with Minke tech support I learned this module was supposed to be already plugged in. After plugging in the fan works fine. Only glitch is with the remote. Occasionally, when selecting the "off" function when the fan is set to "medium", the fan actually switches to "high". From here I can select the "stop" button OK.Overall a nice, fairly quiet fan.

I didn't install these.... the electrician did. And, he didn't grimace or say anything bad. He commented on the quality of the fan and the remote.The fan does use a remote and has a wall function that works with the remote.They look great, traditional look, and quiet.No issues and they do a great job.Five blades in a traditional appearance without a lamp is hard to find. And, I didn't want the string hanging down from a 10 foot ceiling.These do the job. I had not heard of this brand, but well made and quiet.

Great ceiling fan. Extremely quiet. I have had it installed for only a month, but so far so good. I love having a remote for this fan. My electrician, whom I have known for over a decade and whom I would trust with my most prized possessions, recommended Minka-Aire and Casablanca. I had purchased a Casablanca and meant to stick w/ the brand. But this Minka-Aire showed up at the right price (the equivalent Casablanca came in at at least $100 over the price I go this for), so I went for it. And so far, so... very good...

The fan itself is beautiful, and throws out a good breeze. I have two installed on my front porch, and they really cool us off on a hot Georgia evening.However, the remotes suck. I've had several of them die off. You're better off getting a higher quality remote from another source and setting that up when you install your fan.

Excellent buy. This is a great ceiling fan. It is more expensive than some in retail stores but after researching ceiling fans I knew I wanted one with good air flow(very important). It is a nice looking fan and very quiet. It has a good motor and energy efficient. After comparing specs on fans and cmf(air flow) this is a quality fan and at a great price. It was exactly as advertised and came on time.

Fan is super quiet, well made, and a pleasure to operate. Remote works great, and wall unit works perfectly. Five stars!
