Contact Amazon support, they should be able to hook you up. They have called the company while I was on the phone with them.

The charger lights up solid green but when I connect it to the laptop, the green light only flickers and the laptop isn't charging. why might this be?

I am not sure why the light flickers, mine stays solid green after connecting to my computer. My guess would be this is the wrong charger for the computer you have, check the specific power requirements for your computer.
