I'm not sure about solar power here. It's a calculator. It's in a drawer unless I use it( indoors). I see where the battery goes, so have to wonder how this is going to work if it is truly solar (I am betting not!). I'll update if it doesn't work the next time I take it out. But I digress. It's an inexpensive calculator, works fine so far and the only complaint I have is that there is no off button. It stays active for nearly 10 minutes. Wastes battery!
