Quality product.
Perfect for the job - these can also be used on plasterboard. Remove the hook and then pull out the pins and you can paint straight over them. The plastic hook will probably break when you do this, but they aren't designed to be re-used and won't break in use.

Not sure what they're like on concrete, but great on gyprock.
I can't imagine these working terribly well on concrete walls, but on standard internal gyprock walls they work a treat. Zero issues - really easy to install, and leave very little evidence behind once removed.

Works on brick
I got these so I could hang pine garland around my front door. These did not go into the actual brick for me (the metal prongs just bent and smashed instead of going into the brick), but they did go into and stay in the mortar in between the bricks. It worked just fine to hang a fairly heavy (live) garland of pine branches. Probably would also work for Christmas lights or string lights on a patio. Overall, happy I found this and that I could get it to stick in the mortar.

Works great on Concrete Masonry!
I was SO pleased with these. I didn't want to drill a hole in the concrete block wall, and these are so easy to install with just a hammer. They make four small holes that would be easy to cover, and they were sturdy enough for me to hang a large 20x30 frame.
