I’ve never been a preworkout guy but recently I had decided to dip my toes into the preworkout game and try out Pulse. For flavor, it definitely tastes great, but it doesn’t taste like fruit punch. During my cardio session I definitely felt a lot more focused and the caffiene and energy sustained me into and after my work day at the office. It mixed really well and there was no clumping. Having that transparent ingredient list with no prop blends is also a plus.

Got this product when I started lifting and wanted something right before my workout to give me a little extra kick. My brother recommended this brand but because of the amount of caffeine I didn’t ever take a full scoop portion since I’m a night time gym person. I really like this flavor, it’s pretty concentrated and tart. I’ve had it for almost a year now and what’s left is starting to clump up but I’m able to break it up with the scooper. I like the way this brand looks but it does look a little less classy with the black and the powder all over the sides and rim because it reminds me of dust a bit so a white or clear container might’ve made it look better. As far as the effect of the product goes, I really do feel like it gives me a boost for work outs and I always appreciate any extra energy I can get to enjoy my workout and go a little heavier.

I take a HIIT kickboxing class 1-2x per week. It's 50 minutes of intense cardio, drills, etc, and requires a lot of energy. I... am not a high energy person. My regular energy level is somewhere between slug and sloth. But man, do I love hitting a heavy bag. This pre-workout has made it not only possible for me to make it through class, but actually makes me *bouncy* and able to do more for longer. I take between half of one and one scoop total (I'm a 5'4" 130lb woman) and it's always more than enough, with only a little tingle/itchiness. The taste is not the best, I'll be honest, but mixing it into my water with one of those battery-operate milk frother things helps a lot.

Horrible taste. Just awful. Tastes like pure chemicals. I could not even finish a serving it was so bad. 7/21/25 - Updating from a 1 to 3 star. While the taste still isnt good, customer service is. After my initial review they reached out offering a refund - no hassle or anything. So because of that, I would say taste is 0 but customer service is 5 stars.
