Great tea storage
I love these and their double lids for my tea. Inner lid pops inside and has a knob for pulling it out, and outer lid pops onto the outside; now screwing anything but they are just snug enough to protect tea but easy to remove. I recommend wiping them out before use but not submersing them in water.The size of these is perfect for the standard loose-leaf quantities sold at my local shop. My tea stays fresh and protected from any possible light. Most teas should not be stored where UV light can reach it. These are a stylish and easy way to organize my many teas. For an old-fashioned look to help know what tea is in each canister, I recommend the SAVVY & SORTED Chalkboard Labels Stickers + White Chalk Pen (also available on Amazon, at least as of the writing of this review).

Worked very well for what my husband used them for, he made summer sausage.

Just what I wanted
Bought a set of large and small to cover various needs, and they're lovely. Wipes out with a damp paper towel and then dried with a towel before filling them. Even the small hold a decent amount of tea! I had one of each size canister come with a BIG dent in the side, so not sure I'd say they're heavy duty but they're pretty durable for use as tea tins.

Tea cabinet stays organized.
I have a tea cabinet with all sorts of loose tea and tea paraphernalia. I like to organize the cabinet so these tins do the job. I have a label maker with which I use to name the tea and it's particular preparation instructions for each tin.As far as I can tell, my tea leaves stay fresh. I love to admire my tidy tea cabinet. Easily amused I guess.

These canisters have inner lids that seal well. The finish is nice and they are a great price.
