Great "lego" alternative. Entertaining
Super cool piece. My nephews loved the versatility of these blocks. Definitely a creative approach with multiple builds in one. The instructions were easy enough to follow and the pieces fit well.

Great for the price
I bought it for my son and it was a bonding experience. The pieces fell apart easily so you really have to be precise and not touch the other pieces or they would just fall apart. Other then that I thought it was worth it.

Great value, big hit for kids that love ships
Big hit as a gift for ship enthusiast kids. Minimal offerings from lego available at a price that we could justify for a 7yo this was perfect. We were concerned with the different brand and yes there are minor differences but they do interchange. Would reccomend, big smiles and enjoyment for a decent price.

Missing 3 pieces
Nice model that looks great put together. I gave this as a gift to my 9-year-old but we ran into missing pieces. He's a lego super nerd so I'm certain the pieces were actually missing not lost. Fortunately, they were replaceable with his standard lego stock. I think the missing pieces make this a bad gift but if you are willing to poke off-color pieces from some other place into the model it's worth it. The pieces fit together well and clicked into place like the name-brand ones do. We also didn't have any problems with the instructions. They aren't quite as good but plenty usable. The 3-star review is a direct result of missing pieces.
