Donegan CO-5 Clip-On Binocular Magnifier, 2.25X Magnification, 8" Focal Length

These are relatively comfortable and work very well for hands-free magnification of close objects. I'm 40 and use them for soldering and work on small models, and for that purpose they are simply a lifesaver. They are surprisingly well-made and well-designed -- I don't think you can do better for twenty bucks. Originally I considered buying the full OptiVisor contraption, which may be great, but I'm now fully satisfied with these. Note these unfortunately DO NOT have glass lenses, as the top description states... The lenses are acrylic.

My wife loves the glasses, but it was a difficult fit. The glasses kept sliding down her nose . I fixed the problem by heating the earpieces with a hair dryer and gently bending them in. It took a couple of test fittings but now she is happy with them.

We have been using similar lenses that have a comfortable focal length of approx12-14 inches. This lens and stud lenghth combination are much to short and we have to work at 6-8 inches from our patient - not comfortable - the focal length could be made to easily adjust solving the problem

The easy I buying and quick mailing. Just as advertised have used item and replaced my worn and broken definitely worth it to me.

works great over safety glasses

This is an ok item, it tends to fall of the glasses, but it's better than the the optivisor where it makes you sweat and tend to give you a headache after a long wear.

Bought this for elderly parent. Plastic frame just didn't gut it for her tiny face and clipping them onto her glasses were a fail as well.
