I have been taking good care of it so I have not had to clean it yet, however I would assume the best option is to dry clean, this rug is not padded so it is thin, however it’s what I expected. Beautiful design and the red truly is stunning. First prayer rug! It is more on the expensive side but it is worth it.

Good but not plush as claimed
It’s a beautiful rug but it is not plush as mentioned in the listing with the result that you need another layer under it to avoid knee pain.
