I picked this one out of many options because I loved the way that it was presented. I loved the wood, the colors, the flashcards. Each one had differences but this one just looked extra special. I want to slowly get my son familiar with the words so I love that at first he can see the letters and then later you can use the second set of cards and tear off the words. Perfect! So far he has had fun with it though it doesn't hold his interest for long because he is in a car stage. Even just a few minutes a day is fine with me to start with. And it is made so well. I love the wooden look and how they are based around the differently colored vowels. It is such a great price. And really, if it helps him learn to read, it is invaluable.

This was so easy to use. Immediately my kid started using it and would not put it down. It's such a fun and exciting way for them to learn to read and the mind/body cinnection was so great for her; her reading improved significantly in just a couple of days.

This is a nice educational toy for learning. The rotating letter blocks make learning more interactive. But one or two of the wooden letter pieces were slightly loose, and also the base is fairly light, which makes it easy to tip over during use.

This is an excellent tool to engage children in learning.

One of the wooden cubes kept turning on its own and wasn’t balanced correctly making it impossible to spell words (see video). Video also showed how easy the card would fall which would be frustrating for a PreK, kinder or 1st grader. That alone made this disappointing and likely for me to return. I want my kids to enjoy learning not hate it or get frustrated. The second picture shows one of the cubes put on upside down - if this was the only thing wrong with it I would have just sent it back and asked for a replacement. But the card falling constantly and the risk of cubes not being balanced correctly makes this product not worth it for me.
