Adequate but expensive at almost half the price of a complete syphon.
So don't be as clumsy as I am. It is easily broken.

Quality Hario replacement part
I bought this as part of expansion of my existing syphon setup, as we found the smaller 3 cup setup was not larger enough anymore for our needs. Hario parts of different capacities for the same syphon model are modular and compatible with each other. So as expected this easily fit the new larger lower bowl which I also purchased recently, but it also fit the existing stand which meant that I could save some money not having to buy a new one.
