Is this the original classic scent as shown in the photo? the newer pacific force scent isn't as good, and i want to be sure i'm not buying that.

Yes its is..the newer pacific force is garbage..and smells like a imitation version if the original..also I actually found the original version in my local dollar store

Does coast make a soap that's not the Pacific Force scent? if so, is it clearly indicated in the packaging?

I bought 2 bars that did not say any type of fragrance on the label (but they were the original scent in my opinion...was definitely not the Pacific Force). However, like many products these days, the bars are molded concave in the middle (you pay the same but get less). I cannot hold the bar in my hands without it slipping away. I even cut the bar in 1/2! That really didn't help too much.
