I love this shampoo and it only takes a little. What I did was buy a ketchup bottle and premix it half and half then put it on Tank because the shampoo is thick. Leaves his skin soft and clean.

I have a cockapoo that has terrible allergies and dermatitis. He's on allergy pills, a gluten free diet and gets a bath once a week. I had used medicated shampoos from the vet and then from a retail store. Although this is not "medicated," it worked just as well and the cost in difference is significant. I bought the gallon 14 months ago, so it lasts a long time. It suds nicely and had a pleasant smell. Best of all, the number of ear infections that we got went down dramatically. Zymox also has awesome ear cleaners and I attribute the decrease in ear infections to their enzymes that helped clean his ears as he got a bath. I also have a toy pound puppy and he also gets a bath with the Zymox and we have no issues with the shampoo.

Recommended by a vet. Not a cure for fungal / skin issues, rather it works better with a proper diet as that is the true cause of fungus.

I only recently learned that Zymox made a dog shampoo. I have been using Zymox ear cleaner for a long time, so it is a brand that I trust. I couldn't find a smaller bottle, so I said "what the heck" & went for the gallon. It was more than I wanted to pay, but the quantity for the price was actually a really good bargain. It came with a pump, which made it much easier to use. I was really happy with how thick it is and how well it suds. My dogs are clean & coats shiny. I would recommend this product without reservations.

Nothing else I have ever tried has helped my little schnauzer. He is a pure varmint, and gets into everything he possibly can. He has itchy, dry and flaky skin which he is eternally scratching. After the very first use I saw a pronounced difference. He actually relaxes and SLEEPS at night now that he is no longer attacking his skin. The customer service for this company is stellar, so purchase in confidence and trust. The shampoo has a fresh, clean smell and my little guy always smells great! So grateful to have found this product.
