It weighs enough that you can fish where you've never been able to before. I'm talking real distance.It is also about as snag-proof as frogs get. Serious hook protection. This beast plows through almost anything. I think you could fish it in a blackberry patch.Be warned and adjust your spool tension for the exit speed. Then throw it where you want.It also walks extremely well. It is a bit heavier so a slight adjustment in rhythm is called for but easily managed. That weight also makes it very visible in the thick slop.The hooks are dead sharp and, because the purpose of this frog is fishing super heavy cover, don't mod the hooks.This is a great addition to any frogger's arsenal.

The weight and aerodynamics allow personal best casts for distance. This makes medium range casting accuracy vastly more accurate because you’re not having to push for distance. This frog is very slippery in junk, with the super clean front end and the leg skirts rather than paddle feet… The paint scheme strikes me as a perfect balance between vibrancy and realism…The way the frog sits, walks and crawls is extremely enticing. As usual, the eyes seem to show wear first. This thing gets hit!

I’ve used about a half dozen different topwater frog lures, and this one is the best. For starters, it’s 3/4 oz, where most hollow body frogs are 3/8 to 1/2 oz. The extra weight makes this lure much easier to cast farther and makes it less susceptible to wind.The dual chamber design keeps it from sinking when water leaks in around the hooks, so you don’t have squeeze the water out of it as often as other frog lures. The rubber holds up well and the hooks are sturdy.I’ve ordered more in different colors!
