Perfect dummy deadbolt
This dummy deadbolt perfectly solves the problem of the lock hole left by removing the old lock, and its security is superior to a simple lock hole cover plate. strong lock
got this for our basement and this is a strong lock. very satisfied. it doesn't openly easily which I love because you dont want a weak lock meaning it is sturdy and you feel the lock unturning with some pressure.

Must have a great product for added security

Poor attention to parts in box
The first time I ordered this product, I ordered an open box and when I received the product, there were a few parts of the lock missing from the box. It was a good quality product and I thought maybe it was a one time mistake so I returned the product and ordered another one, but brand new. This second time, when I got the product, there were 2 parts missing from the box. Not sure how thats possible if its supposed to be a new piece in a new box.
