It's pure, no fillers
I'm a medical assistant and human microbiology nerd, and I read a detailed article about beet root supplying notable amounts of nitrous oxide in the blood. This increases blood flow, gas exchange, mitochondrial biogenesis/efficiency, and strengthening of muscle contraction. Those with cardiac eurythmia would want this strengthening of muscle contraction, and those who have become incontinent would also see some degree of improvement in the pelvic floor. Google an article named "Preventing and Reversing Disease by Generating Nitrous Oxide" The evidence is not circumstantial nor is it subjective to other biological factors ... The more nitrous oxide in the blood, the more fortified your immune system will be (and almost all diseases can be followed back to abnormal immune pathologies and/or nutritional deficiencies that impact hormone synthesis). Your T-cells are so important for keeping a specific balance and in doing so, prevent a staggering list of diseases, many of which are chronic/degenerative. Nitrous oxide sets in motion a series of events that result in immune balance, because the friendly bacteria made in the gut from beet root (or most dark leafy greens, but to a significantly less degree) are messengers to all other bacteria specific to different parts of your body. This encourages a harmony of bacterial awareness that keep the right bacteria in the right place, especially considering the huge percentage of the immune system located in the intestines. You can think of this similarly in the way that mycelium (fungus) in the soil, broadcasts a network of information that provides every plant, miles away, a biological/environmental schematic allowing them to prepare for oppositional and opportunistic events. Bacteria that colonizes an area of the body that it's not evolved to work with, will cause all kinds of problems over a period of years. Additionally, mitochondrial biogenesis is a major factor in health. Even if you lived a rough n' tumble life and are being unhealthy constantly, if your mitochondria is flourishing, you stand a good chance of escaping the health consequences your behavior would normally manifest. Beet root reminds me of black seed oil, in that it's benefits are stunning compared to most other homeopathic food and supplements. A few months ago, my broke-self had to take out a loan to order more black seed oil, that's how important it is in my life, and beet root is right there alongside it in terms of importance. The product is good quality; tastes very fresh and has a rich color. I would recommend this in a smoothie, orange juice, ect because the serving size is a little more than you may want to dump in your mouth and try not to choke. I love the flavor, so I add it to all kinds of things...I put 3 servings in my from-scratch spaghetti sauce for myself, and 2 other people who hate healthy stuff like powdered super foods, fermented foods, smoothies, ect, and they had no idea I was pumping their poor, inflamed, insulin-resistant bodies full of nitrous oxide. Muahahaha! 👹

Great product bad bag system
Great product bad bag system. I use this to help with blood flow which in return gives you energy. I got this size cause it is a GREAT price for that size. I take it in tje morning and have no digestion issue at all, Product will in return make you feel good and it lowers blood pressure. I changed from smaller size to this 2.2 lbs am loving it, only issue is that the locking system in the bag dont work to well which is why i gave them a 4 star instead of 5, i did report&try to return it and got the $ back, but it wasn't my intention and I do hope their bags will work better, seems to be an issue when there's more in the bags.

Top notch beets supp
This is my 3rd bag, absolutely phenomenal pricing compared to other bests products. Pretty sure it’s freeze dried like a lot of Bulk Supplements products. Their veg products are always bright and colorful. You folks rock!

Good for you!
This stuff is great for muscle recovery, and I use it as a substitute for sugar or honey in my coffee. It has a slightly sweet flavor, just enough to knock down that tart tannic acid taste of just black coffee. It will also die your skin red, if you happen to spill the powder all over your kitchen on accident, and then use your wife's best white kitchen towels to mop up. Do like me and blame it on the cat, cuz that cat deserves to go to time out.

I play a few sports like golf, tennis
I have heard so much about beets lately. I'm 51 years old and do not stay as strong and as focused as I did in the past.I play a few sports like golf, tennis, and, disc golf and I'd like to stay in the game a little longer. I first tried canned beets. I just ate a 1/3 can right out of the can. I really believe the first time I went out a few hours later to play, that I did maintain my competitive edge a little longer. I saw this product on Amazon and thought it would be easier to put one tablespoon in a drink or smoothie than it would be to eat canned beats. I received the product which came in a sturdy zip locked bag. (I stored it inside of a freezer bag just to be safe as well. As you know, beet juice or powder can cause quite a mess and quickly) I put a tablespoon in a glass of juice and gave it a try. WOW did it thicken the drink. It definitely changed the consistency of the juice. The next day I tried it in some strawberry yogurt, added milk, and blended it. It thickened the whole concoction, unfortunately too much for my taste. It is a very concentrated powder. So, in my opinion, this is probably the real deal, nutrient-wise. I cannot attest to it's health benefits as I did not try it long enough. (I felt no short term results) It just did not make consuming beets any easier or more tasty for me. I think it tasted more "beety" then the real thing. Today, I put 1/3 can of beets (Only $0.60 a can), a banana, some raw spinach leaves, some generic strawberry yogurt, and some milk in a blender. It made a full glass and was really pretty tasty with only a minimal beet taste. This will be the route I go with going forward.

Price cannot be beet :-) I just got into the beet thing Jan 2019 with a CVS product @ $23 for what I think was about 8 ounces. This is 4 times as much beet for less money. That was sweetened for appeal. Bought a Walmart brand that was about 6 oz for $16 or so. Had other stuff in it including sweetener. Bought another brand of beet only powder. For raw beet it was a good price at $16/lb, but again you get almost twice as much with Bulk Supplements. The other brand had a lot of hard clumps oddly gave me heartburn almost immediately. Nothing terrible, but was not pleasant. I like the taste of beets, so have no problem with the beet only powder. Usually I add to "health drink" that has spinach or other green powder that I drink before my morning swim and while I walk in the evenings. I just use a water bottle. Put a little water in the bottom, add powders, fill up and shake. This brand dissolves very well. A little tip... you can add some of these flavored water squirts to sweeten a bit and mask the beet taste if it bothers you, but again, personally spinach, wheatgrass, beet, etc taste does not bother me. Maybe it's just enjoying a taste you know is providing ones body with the nutrients it needs. Anyhow, my quick story... My BP has been going up for the last decade. Blew it off to some extent to "white coat" issues of just being anxious at the doctors office. But it is high for a guy that swims daily and generally fit. Think the rise is tied to weekend IPA binge drinking over the same period of time. It's pretty common knowledge that excessive drinking raises blood pressure. Anyhow, I've regularly taken beet powder daily for the most part since late Jan or early Feb. Had a doctors appointment in early Mar... bam 118/78 reading. Looked back over my records via an online portal they have and my top number readings since the records were made electronic and were as high as 140ish and always above 130 or so. Had a dentist appointment with similar readings a month ago. Just today I checked at the gym (3 months using beet root) on a machine that always had me around 135/82 or so. Never lower than 128. BP was 118/75. And I had just walked 5 miles and my heart rate was a great 56 BPM. I will say that I've cut back significantly drinking on the weekend while going on a strict keto diet. Lost 15 lb in two months. Also consuming a variety of greens supplements. With all that said, some of the first measures showing beet powder working for me were before a lot of the weight loss and other supplements. I'm pretty confident that if used daily it can cut ones top BP number by 10 pts.
