Good product, works as expected!
Bought these for my teen who thinks he's a chef bc i worried about him having an accident with the very sharp kitchen knives. This product is ABSOLUTELY a game changer for protection and cut prevention. Its also washable yay! Fits as expected and can still grip reasonably.

Nice gloves
I bought these for my husband who, after buying a new knife and using it for the first time, sliced his thumb. If these help avoid another ER visit, they are well worth it. He did try them on, and his hands are bigger, but his fingers are not that long. The gloves did fit him, but he has a lot of extra room in the fingers. I also tried them on when I got them and my hands and wrist are quite a bit smaller and I found the wrist on these to be quite snug. He didnโt find that a problem at all. They are quite comfortable, and you are able to bend your fingers in these.

Quality is good. Fingers a bit long, but silicone grip is excellent.
Protection on these is good. They were run over moderately with sharp steel and my fingers and hands stayed injury free. The nice thing about this model is the silicone drops on the inside that give excellent grip when anything is in hand. Material feels really nice, fit is good, but, fingers are a bit long. We will see if this is an issue with dexterity over a long period, but initial testing seemed fine for basic chopping/slicing techniques. The silicone grip provides an advantage even if a tiny bit of extra material is in the fingers. Just pull them on tight and there should be no offset. Nice packaging with this brand. Recommended.

Bring on the knives and yes even that much feared and dreaded mandolin slicer
I almost always hold off from doing reviews within a week or two of receiving any items so that I can have a good chance to really use them and I even go back after a few months and will add an update if an item is particularly good or if it failed. This is one of those rare instances where I was eagerly awaiting the delivery so I could really give them a go and no not with a knife to start out but instead a very expensive mandolin slicer that I buried and hid at the back of the furthest cupboard over twenty years ago after not once but twice taking a few fingertips off even being as careful as I could and using the device that you hold the food with so you donโt cut your fingers. I of course had to try a tomato then potato and I did not use the guard, but I was extremely careful even wearing these gloves. The gloves afford you a sense security and comfort and take away that fear that has built up after being bit by a mandolin slicer. The silicon dots that are on the palm side of the gloves if you have them on the right hands that provide a nonslip grip to everything I tried and again provided a sense of security allowing me to work without fear. I did use the gloves with my best knives and they made holding the knife so much easier again I canโt say it enough they provide a level of assurance that you arenโt going to slip and cut yourself. The gloves are rated with a level 5 cut resistance and they really are as good as they sound and as depicted in their video. They are a food-grade and they are darn comfortable this is one of those rare purchases where you know you got your moneys worth and a whole lot more. If you use the gloves as the manufacturer recommends you cannot go wrong. The silicone microdots are to provide a nonslip grip and are not to be used for heat these are no oven mitts and they are not to protect against stabs or even the rotary meat slicer they are to add protection from accidental slips and cuts like those from a slash not a stab. I liked these so much I have already gifted a pair to a family member whom I think will appreciate them as much as I do.

Oh Yeah....These are good.
I use this mainly in the kitchen when I am carving birds. You can really get a good grip on the knife with the rough surface on the gloves. I've picked up broken glass and razor blades with these gloves without a fear in the world. Extremely well made and should last a lifetime. Very comfortable on the fit. Grab a pair.

A Quality Product.
Just what I needed, and they appear to be durable, nice and thick. Ordered these as a safety precaution when bookbinding, which requires many cuts with a utility knife or scalpel. I ordered medium size, and the fit is perfect. (I have "piano hands," long slender fingers.) They're snug, but not too, and flexible enough for me to easily pick up small items. Although the fit is ambidextrous, the raised, gripping surface is on only one side, so you'll probably want that on the palm side of the hand. I'm also going to wear these while using my mandolin slicer and grater box. I've done some quilting and would also recommend these for sewers and quilters who use rotary cutters--those things really scare me! Also, it's a plus that they are not made in China--but in Thailand.

Effective. however the material becomes slippery after washing.
These gloves were perfect the first 1 or 2 uses. Per instructions, I washed them in the dishwasher. But after the 2nd wash, the fabric of the gloves became slippery. And I found that I kept losing my grip of the knife when I was food prepping. NOT GOOD. Even dangerous. I really would not recommend that that reason.

Great for automotive work
Got for my husband to work on metal work and automotive after a wicked finger cut. So far so good. Lightweight, non hindering. He doesn't mind wearing them.

Just arrived
These arrived today. I took a risk and trusted the size guide on the site ... they fit - but it is a tight fit. The hand section is a nice firm fit but the fingers are made for skinnier ones than mine. I am expecting them to have a bit of stretch in them so with some wear they should be just right. My son didn't think they looked cut proof and tried them out for himself. He is happy to confirm they work a treat for a slicing action but not so much for a stab - he was smart enough to take his hand out before trying that one :-)

Excellent value for kitchen cutting safety gloves.
When working with kitchen items such as a mandolin, it's almost a given that your hand will get bitten if you're mindlessly slicing without using a safety device. Not wanting to shred my hands, I purchased these gloves. Trying on the gloves, I found that they were snug, and fit as per the sizing guidelines. The grip texturing is only on one side, so they can not be interchanged between left and right. If you lose a glove, you'll be stuck either using the other hand, or not having the texture on your opposite hand. Feel: while wearing them, at no point did I forget they were on my hands, as they were snug, but they did not restrict movement. Safety: the sole reason for purchasing these gloves. Prior to using my mandolin, I ran a sharp kitchen knife across my fingers, and found it resisted it as I was hoping. While using the mandolin to slice vegetables, I increasingly gained trust in using the gloves, as I did catch my fingers a few times while quickly slicing many small potatoes. While I knew I had just contacted the blade, the gloves served their purpose, and I was unharmed. I was dubious that I might leave some textile on my food, but never noted anything left behind either while handling peeled potatoes, nor seeing foreign debris when I transferred the slices for cooking. Hygiene: while using these gloves, they will pick up residue from whatever you're cutting. A hand wash in dish detergent and then air dry was all that was required to feel safe using them for the next day's task. If switching from raw meat to veg, hand washing in detergent and a thorough rinse will get you back on task quickly. Conclusion: These gloves worked as expected, are comfortable to use during kitchen work, and certainly made using a mandolin a quicker experience (allowing faster operation, and not spending time on inserting the cutting guard). If you're concerned about being cut while handling a knife or grater, these are good gloves. If you own a mandolin, these gloves should be in your inventory.
