I purchased this Skimmer net over 3 years ago and aside from a little sun bleaching of the red coloring it is absolutely as good as new. This is hands down the very best skimmer net I have ever purchased. The quality is 2nd to none. ProTuff did not cheap out in any way with this pool rake - I understand why this product came with an unlimited free replacement warranty - this thing is made so well, it won't have to be replaced probably ever. And don't think I have been easy on this thing. I have 6 trees all around my house that dump millions of leaves into my pool every year. This rake makes getting them out a breeze. It is huge and holds way more leaves than I can even carry, and I can scrape this thing all over the bottom to get the big leaves and debris that falls down to the bottom of the pool ( which is ALOT). It has held up really well. If you look closesly at the top of the rake you might see minor (and I mean MINOR) wear on the red plastic. No holes or unraveling or powderizing of the netting either. The net looks brand new just like the day I got it. And it is heavy duty, too. Ask the huge 4 pound prehistoric sized orange iguana I fished out last week. I used to buy pool nets every year or so. Sure, ProTuff is a little more, but its been over 3 years and still good as new, so if you value quality and don't want to waste your money on inferior products, get ProTuff's pool rake. You will not be disappointed and I am sure you will agree, it is the best pool rake/skimmer net you have every purchased! This pool net is of such high quality that it blows all other nets out of the water. I can see why the reviews are excellent! AND they offer a 2 yr. full warranty replacement for this net. First off...the heft and construction is top notch. The extremely fine mesh of the net is the finest I have ever seen. Nothing is going to escape this. It securely snaps onto the adjustable pool pole. I can truly see this lasting forever! VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED---GREAT VALUE $$ for $$.

After regular use, the net eventually wore out, so I contacted PROTUFF regarding the warranty. They stood behind their product exactly as advertised and handled the warranty claim very well. It is rare these days to find a company that not only offers a strong warranty, but actually honors it without making the process difficult. Their customer service was responsive, professional, and easy to work with. The replacement process gave me a lot of confidence in the brand. The net itself works well for pool cleaning, and the company’s commitment to customer satisfaction makes this an easy 5-star review. By far, the best pool net I ever bought. It worked orders of magnitude beyond the pool nets sold at pool supply stores, home depot or lowes. It's a large net, incredibly strong and durable. Mine did snap where the pole attaches to the net. ProTuff sent me a new net as advertised in their lifetime warranty no questions asked. For that, I think they are an amazing company and am now going to return as a customer for all the other supplies they have that I need. Very rare to find a company that honors their word without a ton of hoops and hassle. I fully recommend them. Happy customer here.

I am writing this review 5 years after I bought this net and the pole it attaches to. Yes, 5 years! This net was subjected to daily, heavy use. I left it outdoors in the elements with the other cleaning equipment. No babying here! And it still lasted this long. The only thing that finally went wrong with it was a small hole that developed on the seam. After 5 years! I actually was going to buy a new one—and gladly so— because it had been such a great purchase. But when I went to buy a new one, I learned mine came with a lifetime warranty. I contacted the company, pretty much expecting the typical response when you try to redeem a warranty. You know, where the company tries to get out of honoring it. That did not happen here. On the contrary, they were friendly, professional, prompt, and immediately got my replacement processed. I’m getting my new net in a few days. How amazing is that? Regarding the net: it is very well made. The plastic from which the net hangs is thick and solid and resistant to the elements. After 5 years, it hasn’t even faded. It did not crack, flake, or otherwise degrade. The metal part is entirely intact. No rusting, no bending or warping. And the fit with the pole is still snug and secure. The net itself is tough and strong, yet the mesh is fine enough to capture everything. This is a small business with a well-made product and excellent customer service that honors its word. Buy from them with confidence. In short, as I said, TOP QUALITY. So satisfied with this purchase and the customer service.

Very well constructed it lives up to its marketing description the primary difference between this net and it's other 19 inch version is is that the handle base that connects to the net itself can be removed to reduce weight or package size if either piece has to be replaced when you want to take advantage of that lifetime warranty down the road. It is a tighter net so it picks up more items. The cheaper nets would not and it definitely is a heavier gauge product that looks extremely durable and larger than most so we can hold an impressive amount of Pool leaves, which is my primary application

This Pool Net is top quality, designed for and used by professionals. I've owned many pool nets over the past 35 years, and this one by ProTuff since December of 2023. It is the best performing pool net I've ever used. The mesh net fabric finally has a small hole at the bottom, from normal wear. Since the product has a lifetime warranty, I contacted ProTuff expecting to get a mesh net replacement that I would have to install myself. They wrote back and said they were sending me a brand-new complete net with frame, etc., which I received within 3 days. ProTuff upgraded the net design so that the mesh fabric can easily be replaced using a zipper. That is a clever design. Why throw away the whole net when only the fabric needs replacing? They made it easy for the homeowner to change the net without tools.

I have been very pleased with this net. It is strong, the shape cleans our koi pond very well and the mesh size is perfect for cleaning out the algae and sludge from the bottom. It also empties out far easier than I expected. A GREAT product. I use it a lot and it has made a big difference in our pond.

Overall this skimmer net works great. I like the fact that it is clear so that you can see leaves and debris floating underneath the water. My previous skimmer net was white and I found it harder to capture this type if material. It also glides through the water with medium resistance, which is good based on the small size of the openings in the net (i.e. for silt). I also find their warranty very impressive. The only negative comment is that I find the depth of the net to be a little small. This means you have to empty it more often. If you try to collect too much debris it just spills over into the pool. Another 2"-3" would be ideal.

Super well made, quality is amazing. Sinuses to buy one every season and this one is still as good as new after 3 seasons.
