The dates can be found on the base/bottom of the can or stick, or on the shoulder/neck of the can (just below the cap). The dates can also be found on the back of the bottle or the cap. We suggest tilting the bottle or tube or can under a light as some package codes are white print on yellow and/or embossed into the packaging. As of July 2017, we began printing expiration dates on all Coppertone products. Any Coppertone product that does not have an expiration date printed directly below the lot number has expired.

Does it rub into darker skin without leaving a white film?

The Coppertone Kids Lotion SPF 70 does not contain zinc oxide which may leave a white cast on the skin. Much will depend on the amount you apply, how the product is spread on the skin, and your natural skin color. To minimize this, apply the sunscreen in advance of sun exposure and rub it in longer than you typically would. Remember to always follow the label directions when applying sunscreens.

Kid friendly

This sunscreen is amazing! It goes on smoothly, isn’t sticky, and absorbs quickly. My kids don’t mind applying it at all, which makes outdoor time much easier. It provides excellent sun protection, keeps their skin safe during play, and doesn’t cause any irritation. The scent is mild and pleasant too. Definitely my go-to sunscreen for my kids—highly recommend!
