Bought several of these. Used in a house we rented in FL where it was moldy inside. One is not sure if it is working until you unplug it and then realize you start sneezing and feeling terrible.I put these in every room for proactive measures. I turn the colored light to off because I don't want a light on all night. The tiny blue power indicator does stay on.

I purchased two of these units from Amazon in June of 2018. Both have worked very well and kept the dust and animal dander out of the air. I have the white one in the bedroom and the Black one in the living room. Today I noticed that the Black one is not warm to the touch. The lights still come on and changes color but it doesn't put out any heat. I think it has stopped cleaning the air. I read in the reviews on Amazon that there is a 2 year warranty on these products. Please let me know how I can get this one fixed as I really like them and want to keep using it. I tried to send an email to the manufacture [email protected] but it came back as undeliverable. Resent the email and it went through but after 10 days, no reply from the company yet.Update 5/21/2020 - finally found the right email address ( [email protected] ) and when I described my problem, I was sent a return authorization and shipping advice. Sent the item back and got a brand new one that works great.I really like the way it cleans the air. I had a small parrot which put a lot of dander in the air, I would find it on everything in the living room but after using this product for a few weeks a noticeable difference was observed. I also have one in the bed room and my wife an I sleep better while using it.

I am very happy I purchased this air purifier. It is completely silent - if it didn't have the light on top (which you can switch colors or turn off), I wouldn't even know it was on. I also love that there are no filters to replace or maintain at all. It seems to be doing a great job clearing the air in my living room. We had a little bit of mildew forming in a couple of spots from the damp air, and after running this for a few weeks, they are almost entirely gone. I purchased it because I wanted something that would kill viruses in the air if anything got into our house, and while I don't have any way to measure how effective it is at doing that, it definitely has given me some peace of mind when we've had to have repair workers inside. It does get a little warm to the touch, but not enough to noticeably change the temperature in the room or anything like that. I was initially worried the heat might damage my table, but after over a month it hasn't caused any rings or other problems and isn't really any warmer than a warm drink might be. Overall, I really like this one!

This was a second purchase for this type of air purifier for my home. I purchased a similar one about 10 years ago and have always been very pleased with it and it was amazing how much dust it actually reduces. However, this one I recently purchased doesn't do anything but light up and even then, I have to tap it numerous times to get the light to come back on. I haven't noticed any reduction in dust or improved air quality and unlike my other one it is constantly cool and does not feel warm to the touch. I should have returned it since I believe it never really worked properly. Do yourself a favor and follow up with the product results before your return time expires.

This is a good product for my allergies and asthma! It has worked to decrease my symptoms significantly.Pros: works to reduce allergens for me and I have seen a decrease in symptoms. Cheaper than using replacement filters.Cons: does not reduce dust, does not eliminate odors, and due to a lack of a fan works slowly.I see a lot of reviews that this product doesn't work and wanna say: This product will NOT get rid of odors or reduce the amount of dust. It does an amazing job of reducing allergens and pollutants. There is no filter and no fan, so it's not gonna get rid of dust the same way as a HEPA purifier or work nearly as quickly as a HEPA purifier to clean the air.Due to whatever chemicals are used in HEPA purifiers I cannot use them, they always aggravate my asthma (I am very sensitive) so after trying out MANY purifiers this has been the best one, and cheapest since replacement filter costs add up a lot.

We had water damage in a small bedroom and could not get rid of the mold and mildew smell even after repairs. After a few days of using this purifier, the mold smell was greatly reduced, and after a week it was gone completely. We leave it in that room and the smell has never returned.We also keep one in our master bedroom and it keeps the room air very clean. Since both units are in bedrooms, we love that you can turn off the light completely and that it makes no noise! I highly recommend this product.

They claim it just "incinerates" particles so no filter, no residue. Unfortunately, human psychology makes air quality perception a terrible barometer for effectiveness. So now it's just sitting there sucking up some electricity every month. Hopefully it's helping. If that's the type of thing that drives you crazy, just go for a regular filter. If anyone has evidence or can propose a test to demonstrate it's effectiveness, I'm all ears.

Living in the pacific northwest where it is damp and rainy a lot of the time we also have to deal with mold. These things sit there looking like a big waste of money but in reality are doing the job as long as they are near a place where there is air movement such as people walking past or doors opening and closing. As a relative newcomer here I had a lot of mold damage until I caught on to these things. Now I have one wherever I suspect there could be a problem. The first one I bought was for near the front door where I could smell mold but couldn't find it. Within about a week the smell was gone and has never returned. Since then I have put one in the bedroom and in a suspicious corner of the tv room.
