Uniquely effective, for me, painkiller; Rapid free delivery; Long life
Ibuleve is the only painkiller I have found that calms my painful lower back muscle enough for me to spend the day up [before scuttling off to bed again so I can lie flat until the next day].- I started with a 2-3cm dose then repeated it 4 hours later and, two hours after that, the pain eased off significantly *** [enough for me to get from my living room to my bed, my primary healer].- I apply the gel to a folded up kitchen towel to avoid the amount that would otherwise get uselessly spread over my hand. I can still keep rubbing it in until it's absorbed into my back.- Perhaps it's squeezing it out onto a folded paper towel rather than directly onto my back that makes it easy to control how much I use each time.- I got this stuff as an alternative to the Ibuprofen tablets suggested by my doctor's physio nurse [whose recommendation was painkillers & exercise].- The pharmacist agreed that Ibuleve was compatible with my blood pressure pills.- I've had no side effects.[*** I've had similar 2 doses & 2 hours hours experiences with other pains in the past so I was not surprised or disappointed. I've also tried heated pads & self-heating gels in the past but they have never achieved any pain relief for me.]Rapid free delivery- I ordered four tubes at about 8pm Tuesday evening & they were delivered Thursday morning [by Royal mail].- Thursday had indeed been the delivery date stated on the Amazon product page when I placed the order.Long life - The tubes I have just bought have an expiry date of May 2028, just over two years away.My 50g tubes came with a turny thing [photo attached] to let me roll the tube up tightly to extract the very last of the gel.- I had already, or so I had thought, squeezed my old tube up to get it all out but the turny thing has let me get another two doses out.- The turny thing is like those you might have seen for use with toothpaste.I estimate that a 50g tube will last me a fortnight since my previous 30g tube lasted a week & a day.- I'm applying it each time to an area about the same as a slice of bread. This 50g tube works out as about 20% cheaper than my local pharmacy & 30% cheaper than the supermarkets.I've opened & smelt one of the just-delivered tubes and it smells just like the one I bought in my local pharmacy last week.- I had to put my nose close to it to smell anything at all.- There's no smell of cat urine or fish [rotten or fresh].- If anything, I'd describe the smell as being like the doctor's surgery [mild disinfectant?, I'm not sure].- None of the 'smelly' reviews mentioned expiry dates so I have no idea if they had received old stock or not.- One 'smelly' review said the fishy smell started a month after the tube had first been opened. I'll test that with a used tube next month and add a comment if I have the same experience.- I recall an item on the news a couple of years ago that said tastes & smells were affected by our genes and that's why people's preferences & experiences differ. Just by way of example, I like the taste of broccoli but, said the news report, some people find it tastes bitter or sour. [For all I know, pain & pain relief are similarly variable.]The simple packaging was sufficient in my case.- Each tube comes in a card box just like you'd see on any pharmacy shelf.- They were all posted together in a plastic envelope.- A couple of box corners had been pushed in during transit but the tubes themselves were undamaged.Fire hazard label [photo attached]- Contrary to one review, the warning label says 'Fire hazard' not "highly inflammable".- I don't smoke & my house is all-electric so complying with the warning will not be any bother.- I found an old tube of another skin gel that says it contains liquid paraffin, presumably to make it spreadable. Perhaps Ibuleve contains something similar.I have found nothing to criticise at all.- And I would have said so had there been anything to criticise.

Better than youd think
When you first apply it, nothing happens, but keep using it sparingly over a few days, and you will wonder what your problem was as it is now, no more. It also costs less than buying it at a chemists

Direct pain relief where I needed it
Never used anything like this before, having only used tablets in the past, but having recently suffered from a case of tendonitis, which was very painful, Iโd seen a number of online recommendations for ibuprofen gel. This one being a 10% gel was very effective and certainly took away some of the pain making it easier to get around. It went onto the skin easily and dried in a few minutes leaving the skin dry. The tube was a perfect size for multiple applications without the worry of running out before the pain had gone. I had all the benefits of pain relief direct to where I needed it, without the need to take tablets.

Helps reduce migraines triggered by neck and shoulder pain
A good ibuprofen gel that I use when when the tension/pain in my neck and shoulders is triggering a migraine. Easy to apply, works for a couple of hours and does help reduce the pain.

Pain relief but makes you smell like fish
Seems to do what it says on the tin but boy does it smell bad - really fishy. Iโll probably stick to voltarol.
