Right Now 2001 Version

I’ve never heard of atomic kitten I checked them out on YouTube I was like I like them they are really good girl group I love the big singles like right now it has that disco feel to it see ya which is an underrated song, cradle which is one of my favorite songs from the album also you are I love that song as well.

I love this CD, and I love different knind's of music. But this kind of dancy pop is so addictive, that I cannot take this cd out of my cd player. I swear, it is well worth the purchase, and I will never bore of my fave songs such as Whole Again, Eternal Flame and Cradle. All the songs on this cd are either full of energy or soulfull ballads. Ths one is a winner! So original and superb.A must have for pop or Atomic Kitten fans.

hmm.. interesting title considering how quickly the tracks on this cd beome dated. sure some of the songs are classic kitten songs, ie "tomorrow & tonight", "whole again" and "eternal flame" but others are just dodgy, boring and stupid. skip "get real", and right now. but don't let this album discourage you!! feels so good and ladies night are excellent!!

Most reviews for this CD are based on how strong the songs on this album are without seeing the song-writing partnership behind Atomic Kitten. This is fine for those who just like this genre, but most of those who aren't into teen boy/girl bands will probably dismiss this without a thought. For anyone who doesn't know, this partnership is Andy McCluskey and Stuart Kershaw from OMD. Who? Only one of the best synthpop groups of the 80's, remember Enola Gay and Joan of Arc? This group was formed by McCluskey when the popularity of OMD waned in the mid-90's. I've been watching their progress with interest, but only recently took the plunge to buy this album. I'm 33 years old and a big 80's and modern synthpop fan and regardless of the decent songwriters I had fears that this might be typical boy/girl band pap. I was gloriously wrong. McCluskey and Kershaw have geared this firmly towards the teen market but the songs are very strong and quite diverse in sound. McCluskey and Kershaw have written 11 out of the 14 songs on this album and did most of the programming and keyboards. This is pedigree. I have to say that the girls vocals fit the style of songs quite impressively and I'm sorry to have waited for so long. Some are the ballads that you would expect, but the majority are a mix between glorious sing-a-longs or quite quirky songs that you would expect of OMD. Favourite songs: Right Now, Whole Again, Strangers (with sitar...) and I Want Your Love. The latter uses a sample of The Big Country by The City Of Prague Philharmonic orchestra, some may remember this from the 808 State hit The Only Rhyme That Bites back in the late 80's (it's better here!). Shows a lot of promise in proving that the OMD song-writing is still as strong as ever, don't think we'll see Romance Of The Telescope Part II though...

Atomic Kitten are my favourite girl band, and Britain's best girl band! This album proves it! Rundown: 1. Right Now Very catchy and dancy, with funny lyrics. The girls' debut single, and a awesome one at that. Great! 4.5/5 2. Follow Me Brilliant! I love this midtempo song with awesome lyrics. Atomic Kitten's fourth single, but it bombed. No idea why though! 5/5 3. Whole Again The song that sent them to the big time. This is fantastic, with great music and vocals. 5/5 4. Eternal Flame Another #1 for the Kittens. I prefer the radio edit, but I still love this song! 5/5 5. Tomorrow & Tonight An excellent upbeat track! Very catchy and bouncy. 5/5 6. Get Real Took awhile to grow on me. But it did, and now I love it. I can't help dancing to this! 4.5/5 7. Turn Me On This song has cool music, but is quite bland. It's alright. 3.5/5 8. Hippy Very weird song. I love the music and catchy chorus. Great. 4/5 9. You Are Supposed to be a single, but never got released. I wish it had been though, it's a excellent song, very catchy. 5/5 10. Cradle Brilliance! A slow ballad, but an amazing one! It's so heartfelt and beautiful. My favourite song on the album. 555555/5 11. Bye Now I love the mixed up chorus, it sounds awesome! Great song! 5/5 12. Strangers One of my other favourites. I love the Asian music on this! The vocals are beautiful, and the ending is fantastic!!! 5/5 13. See Ya A bonus song on the album. The Kittens' second single. A cute, catchy little ditty. 4.5/5 14. I Want Your Love The third single. It's fastpaced and dancy. Will have you singing along in seconds. 5/5 Overall, this is one brilliant album. I love nearly every track. The Kittens themselves are: Natasha Hamilton (Amazing singer), Liz McClarnon (Soooo gutsy) and Jenny Frost (So beautiful and inspiring). I love Atomic Kitten and love this CD! Can't wait for their next one!

cd is ok

I would like to say as a Child growing up in the Early Noughties Atomic Kitten where one of my favourite Girl Group I loved their clothing style though I was about eight when this came out a bit sexual for me on too the music Track One Right Now which is a bit like the beginning of a Disco pop song it has all the beginning of Disco pop album it is a perfect pop record and sounds very Noughties, track rating 10/10 Track Two Follow Me This song would of been a fabulous second single or Third why not as it sounds like you can hear the melodies in Natasha Hamilton’s voice and the video is very 2000’s track rating 10/10 .Track Three Whole Again this is one of my favourite tracks ever I love nearly all the tracks on this album Whole Again Which has Natasha Liz and Kerry before Kerry left in February 2001 , Track rating 10/10 this was the biggest selling song of the 21st Century by a UK Girl Group Track five Eternal Flame which is a cover of the Bagels 1988 album , it is a good cover I like the the cover the video looks beautiful and was one of the best pop music videos of the Noughties. Track five Tomorrow and Tonight the lyrics are very 2000’s pop it has a feel of Britney Spears Britney Album which was released on October 13th 2001 and has a sound of Britney’s Anticipating song it was a great era of music pop music was still innocent and not too much overly sexual but very fun , I miss them days there was a lot of Girl bands in the early 2000’s Atomic Kitten Sugababes , Destiny’s Child . Track 8 Get Real This song will be given a 8/10 a ok song I like the lyrics not my favourite unsure what to give this but in my opinion I love nearly all the songs Track 9 Turn Me on it is a feel of Donna summer here and the Bee Gees this is one of those Pop Disco feel good songs after the Lockdown and Pandemic when we can all party this Album will be played at my house party’s it is full of those songs that can cheer you up , and remind you of the more simple days , a 10/10 in track rating these Girls were 19 23 22 so talented, . Track 10 Cradle the lyrics are very poppy and it was not released as a single till 14th February 2005 for World vision it has a background in the music videos of their singing career and was number 10 in the uk singles chart Track Nine sorry I get the CD numbers all wrong so it is Bye Now which is about track 11 which is a nice song but not my favourite like Right now , Follow Me See Ya Eternal Flame Whole Again I want your love , Track 12 Strangers this has a oriental vibe and it shows off Liz’s vocals she definitely had very strong vocals, I love it Atomic kitten were talented being about 9 I don’t remember much except Tide is High and Ok and seeing them perform on Top of the Pops , Track 13 See Ya The music video is well watching this on YouTube I would have thought how adventurous it looks like they are doing all kind of stunts on YouTube music videos those days were just one of the best music wise it was so creative, and the music was just so full of variety of feel good pop songs , the song is very 2000’s worth YouTubing the Video for a back too the 2000’s vibe Track 14 I want your love this is fun expressive song and it has a whole kind of poptastic vibe to it it is perfect nostalgic pop to it, so glad I brought this album years later .

Fab selection of songs but did not like the version of bye now because it did not sound as good as the original and was slow.

Great CD, i've got it in the car.

Wanted to hear some of what they did. They are OK but do not match The Supremes or Motown female acts.
