Only recently became aware B5 does not stick around long in the body because its very short half-life is like a couple of hours or something. This product does not extend 24h, but it does at least double the duration of active B5 in the body, to aid metabolism necessary in all things but perhaps most importantly weight loss and muscle growth/preservation which are steep mountains all of eventually face as we age. The idea of taking an average B5 six times a day verses taking this product twice a day is what holds my interest in this product.

As a medical professional, I've conducted my own "study" over many years with this product. Blood work done before starting, after being on the product, stopped product, then restarted. A period of 6 months or a little more between each change. Blood work taken and lab analyzed at each time. There is ZERO doubt, ZERO, that it helps reduce cholesterol numbers, especially triglycerides and LDL. Now, not as much as a statin drug will, but if you have had muscle issues on one of them, these could make a nice option. I've been using these for well over two decades.

As a supplement. I felt bad over a year so I’m reading and trying different things!

I'm taking this product to reduce my cholesterol. I can't take statin drugs so I started with 300 mg's twice a day for 4 months. That lowered my total cholesterol 71 points so I've upped the dose to 300 mg three times a day and hope it will lower my cholesterol another 20 to 30 points. I've had no side effects and Pantethine seems a much better choice for me than statin drugs.

All I can say is that my "bad" cholesterol numbers have gone down to a healthy level since taking this product. My doctor told me that they're finding that high cholesterol has less to do with diet and more to do with genetics and somehow this product is able to help and I'm grateful for that!

Great product but I couldn't take, for it promotes what I was trying to to get less of. Not for me.

After using this product for a total of 5 months and have my blood work checked twice this product did not help me lower my cholesterol. I took this along with Bergamot. Please check your blood work if you're using products to help you with a specific issue so that you can ensure it works and you're not wasting your money.
