I usually don't leave reviews but i was going back and forth about different razors and the question about preshave oil kept coming up. The prices of this stuff is all over the place and i went on reviews and the price. The price can't be beat but more importantly it really works well. Less than half a pump is more than enough. I use a good shave cream over it and same razor.... Very smooth shave and there really is a significant difference using it ve. not using it. Also, call me crazy but the razor doesn't seem to clog and rinses clean easily and the whiskers are smaller. I can't speak to other brands but this oil works well and the price is great. I got the eucalyptus scent and it was really good... Not overpowering and the skin felt moisturized even after using an alum block and cold water rinse. I am a real customer, i bought this and no one asking me to make this review. I hope that this was of help.

Really nice product the sandalwood was a daily use of mine until they changed the recipe now it smells like patchouli. I still use the lemon grass because it’s really a great product for shaving and it has a nice scent.

Barber Approved! I’ve been a professional barber for 15 years and this is by far my favorite shave oil. I do shaves on clients all day, everyday and this oil is amazing. It’s not too thick and oily, it’s a perfect consistency. The smell is light and not too over powering! This will definitely be a regular purchase for my shop.

I guess my headline should speak for itself. I have used this both as a preshave and as a beard oil. It works perfectly and equally great on both. As a preshave I got a smooth, super comfortable, and very close shave with both shaving creams I used (Proraso and Bulldog). It definitely improved the performance of the already high quality shave products I used. After growing out my beard and trying a number of beard oils packaged in tiny bottles I decided to give it a try instead of those. Amazing good moisturizer at a small fraction of the price. If you read the label you will see exactly the same good oils as the so-called dedicated beard oils. It's an easy choice for me. Over the long period time I have used this the only "complaint" I might have is perhaps a decrease in the proportion of essential oils to the formula. Maybe it's just my imagination, but I now add a little Sandalwood, Lemongrass, or Bergamot essential oil to the bottle for a longer lasting scent in my beard. This is a complete non-issue if using strictly as a preshave. This is a no-brainer, must-buy.

i like the product but the pump that came with it leaks out around the stem when you pump it wasting about half the product

Never used a pre-shave oil, but decided to give this a try. I'm glad I did. After holding a hot cloth to my face for a bit I use one push on the pump, share the oil in my palms (it isn't much) and rub it in. Now, the odor doesn't do anything to give me a better shave, but I do enjoy the fragrance (and I typically hate smells!) This, I like. Next, I add the shaving cream (I use a foam, not a gel, from a can). And I shave using a closed comb safety razor (a single blade). I attribute the fact that my face isn't scraped raw after a shave (I know I press too hard, I always have and I can't seem to break that habit) to this oil. And even after I shower and the oil is almost all gone, my skin is still left feeling softer and smoother than it ever has before I used pre-shave oil. I'm glad I gave this a try - you will be, too!
