are they anti slip? especially for walking in swimming pools?

YES, that is all I wear them for, aqua aerobics and swimming. prevents catching foot infections.

I'm a 6.5. Should I size up or down?

They are a generous width fitting and the sides are very flexible. I'd probably go for a 6 if 6.5 isn't available and you can use the draw cord to pull them in around the ankle but it depends on how 'fleshy' the tops of your feet are as to whether you'd feel comfortable using the draw string. You don't want them floating away if you swim in them !

Should Ibuy usual size or downsize as I do in hot tuna aqua shoes

I think you should order one size down from your usual size - my partner did and they fit fine

Do these fill up with water? Or do the holes seen on the side let the water drain out?

Yes they fill with water. And the holes allow it to drain away.
