Q: Can it be used as a towel or just a wrap？

Just a wrap. It has valcro on it, as that what keeps it wrapped on you. Would not use as a towel

Q: Will the robe be heavy? I want something lighter for this style of robe.

It is lighter than a towel. I have used UT fir 2 weeks

Q: Is the material of this wrap robe comfortable?

The material is definitely comfortable. It is a soft terry cloth and comes out of the washer and drier soft as well. The Velcro is placed well and I don’t feel it rubbing anywhere.
