The Neat Company NeatReceipts Mobile Scanner and Digital Filing System with Bonus Travel Case, Home Office Edition, 2005427

I not recommend this product to my worst enemy. The scanner is OK, if you need a scanner. However, the software is very poor. Maybe 1 out of 10 invoices will be correct Some will be ok after 2 or 3 scans. Some require as many as 10 scans before they are correct. Some never do. The scanned image is good, but the results, the total invoice paid, even the name on the invoice, is almost never correct. ALL OF THESE INVOICES WERE FROM THE SAME COMPANY, WITH VERY CLEAR AND LEGIBLE INVOICES. Imagine what you will get with invoices that were not clear. Also, there is NO SUPPORT. You cannot call in and talk to anyone. You have to email tech support. After several emails over a two week period, and not receiving any response, I gave up.

Hard to connect

WASTE OF MONEY! I purchased this scanner in July for a small business I am starting. I was not able to fully set up as the pin# needed to register kept giving invalid PIN when entered. I get home after their customer support office 6pm and the are do not operate on weekends. With the new year I decided to try it again and now the Neat scanner does not work at all! No light, no power- its' just dead! And of course I cannot contact NEAT for help. Will continue to try to contact them. Don't buy this produce unless you have $$ to waste!

Lifesaver

Very tough to scan items. It is easier to use my phone and the Neat app. The actual application software seems outdated. I enjoy using this software to keep my receipts organized but Neat needs to step up their game in compatibility. It is not the easiest to use, glitches every once in a while. When I create a new file from my phone it doesn't always show up on my laptop application..

First of all, the scanner is the only good part of the system. It works very well and has great quality. However, when it came to tax time, it was utterly useless and a massive waste of time and money. It's impossible to pull a report or edit a receipt without the entire system crashing. I would rather use Evernote and do it all by hand.

If I could give less than one star I would the product is completely worthless apparently Microsoft Windows did an update in January that is marking the neat software a corrupt or invalid you cannot even download the software to get the neat receipt scanner to work it's useless I can't do anything with it I've contacted the company and they're trying to work on a resolution but to this day it still will not work
