pro: holding up well after tens of prints pro: made the print area on my Ender3 v2 much flatter, deviation in the Z is now under 100um pro: heats up as fast as the original bed pro: doesn't need any glue stick to ensure good first layer adhesion con: prints REALLY like to stick to the bed, i need to let the printer fully cool down AND use a razor blade + plastic hammer to remove the prints. Maybe if my room was significantly colder then the printing to idle temperature delta would be enough to detach the prints better, but a spring steel removable plate would be easier to get the prints off of. This isnt the fault of the product, it is just how glass beds behave. bottom line: a worthwhile upgrade to get more consistent first layers and prints, but an easily removable spring steel plate would probably be more convenient and equally as performant.

After finding some fairly consistent fixes to my magnetic bet to produce successful prints, it just seemed to stop working no matter how many fixes I tried. After reading reviews of this glass bed, and watching some YouTube videos on the best practices for my Ender 3, I dropped the $10 to get this shipped ASAP. First, due to the thickness of the plate, I had to tighten down my springs further which actually added stability to the leveling between prints. I experimented with heat settings and print speeds and found a pretty good balance to get successful prints almost every time. Bed temp up to 55, speed for first level down to 90%, then up to 100 afterwards, and PLA temps according to the optimal settings provided by the mfg. Occasionally cleaning with isopropyl alcohol, but only re-leveling every 3-4 prints (unless I had to violently remove the print object - see below) Only one real complaint, the solid bed is so adherent, it's almost impossible to remove the print if it has any significant surface area - the little dragon in my pic has some very fine detail and small parts, and these almost broke due to the pressure of removing. For large prints, like the board game elements in my third pic, I actually removed the plate from the printer, ran cold water down the back side, then used the spatula to pry the corners up gently until the full adherent surface popped off. This usually requires re-leveling afterwards, once I put the glass plate back on. Even with this slight inconvenience, I am extremely happy with the way this has improved my success rate over the flexible magnetic and default shipped surfaces for this printer.

I had been trying to level my voxelab Aquila printers bed forever. I tried everything e-leveler the paper method everything short of ABL. even though I was able to print the little hook once nothing worked after that and then somebody suggested getting this plate. Even though Aquila itself has a glass plate. I still got this not knowing if it would work but it was awesome. It worked like there was never anything wrong. If you have tried everything else do give this a try. Totally worth it now. I am going to try to keep it clean and see how we need prints. I can get off of it

Worked great, but can be a bit hard to remove prints sometimes. I eventually replaced it with a magnetic flexible bed and am much happier

Best upgrade you can get for your ender 3 or Elegoo, put it on my Elegoo and it fits and works like a charm, might need glue for some prints but the smooth finish is awesome and it’s only $10 why not get it

I've sworn by magnetic bed printing and heard all of the issues with printing to glass, so I had no reason to switch. Boy am I glad I did! Installation takes a couple of simple steps, but once the leveling is dialed in, it works great. My very first print was spot on perfect. It even popped off of the glass with barely any effort. Adhesion was not an issue. One note - the glass has a textured side and a smooth side. After research, I opted to print on the smooth side and that works for me. You can try it and decide for yourself. Keep in mind that with any glass bed... > you will need to adjust your Z-axis limit switch upward by a few millimeters (the thickness of the glass. I loosened the switch, raised it and set the edge of the glass under it - then tightened it back). That adjusts exactly to the thickness of your new glass bed. > Level - level - level. If you aren't using a BL Touch, the paper method (which I use) works perfectly fine, but do it a few times to be SURE it is dialed in right. The paper should be able to make it under the nozzle with a bit of friction / drag. This is step is crucial! > adjust your initial layer height to .3 in your slicer software > Lastly, clean the glass with Isopropyl (rubbing) alcohol using a microfiber rag before each print. I print PLA at 62° and it is working great so far. Great seller - the glass comes with clips to hold it in place and everything is packaged securely in foam for thorough protection. I highly recommend this product!

Ho acquistato questo piatto in vetro per migliorare l'aderenza dei modelli 3D che stampo. Risultato : ECCELLENTE !!! Sono rimasto sorpreso del risultato, niente più collanti o spray lacca per capelli, dal video si può vedere che l'aderenza è perfetta per tutta la grandezza del piatto.
