Chord Songbook (Paul Simon/Simon & Garfunkel)

Excellent and very simple to use

The book is exactly as advertised but not quite what I expected. It shows a few guitar chords at the top with traditional tab notation, followed by the lyrics with the name of the chord (but not the tabs) over the lyrics. If you can play those few chords, then you can play the song. These are simplified versions of the songs, exactly as advertised.If you are expecting traditional staff notation for playing along on the piano, it isn't here, even for songs that S&G originally performed on the keyboard. For songs that are guitar songs, you will only get the simplified version, not the full version that they're playing on the albums. I couldn't play the full version on the guitar, so I appreciate the simplification very much, but make sure you want that.

A few to me is 3 not 21 as in one song. Most of the songs have 6-10 chords and not chords that i would call easy. I don't consider F to be an easy chord either, not to mention some others included in this songbook. I would not recommend this book to beginner/intermediate guitar players.

Leider habe ich mir dieses Buch bestellt, es ist sehr enttäuschend. Das Format ist kein A4, es ist ein mittleres Heftformat. Es sind zwar Akkorde angegeben, aber die sind nicht unbedingt sehr passend. Die Auswahl der Songs ist auch nicht wirklich üppig. Ich kann es absolut nicht empfehlen. Für den Preis auf jeden Fall zu teuer.
