Hawaiian Oil-Free Moisturizer, Aloe & Green Tea

This product was recommended to me by a fellow makeup enthusiast. I have have very oily skin, and have been looking for a facial moisturizer that helps keep my skin moisturized and soft without the excess oil. Alba Botanica Hawaiian, Aloe & Green Tea Oil-Free Moisturizer provides just that! First, I take off my makeup and use an oil-free face wash to clean my face. Then, with a towel, I pat my face and neck dry, and use an oil-free toner all over my face. Finally, with a fingertip, I dab just a small amount of Alba Botanica Hawaiian, Aloe & Green Tea Oil-Free Moisturizer onto my face and neck and rub it in. This moisturizer is so light and sets very quickly. The product says not to use near your eyes, but it's so light and lacks any pungeant smells, that I use it over my entire face, including my eyelids! When I wake up, after using this product before bed, my skin is baby soft and radiant. There is no left over greasy residue that lots of moisturizers leave behind. The product also states that it wears well under makeup, and boy does it. 10/10 would recommend to others interested in an oil-free moisturizer.

A light face moisturizer that glides on and absorbs quickly. Not heavily scented, not greasy or heavy. I love that it is not tested on animals and the quality is great. I've been a faithful customer for quite a while now and highly recommend this product. The texture is light and creamy so easy to apply.

I love this product. I have bought it for many years. It is the only moisturizer that has ever worked perfectly for my skin. It gives non-greasy moisture that doesn't dry out your skin like some gel moisturizers do. The texture is creamy, smooth, and kinda gooey, like honey, but not sticky. It softens skin and gives it a "silky" texture. I've seen some negative comments about the smell, and I was really appalled! I've always loved the natural, tropical Hawaiian smell so much...it isn't strong, it's pretty light, and it IS NOT a cheap, drugstore-chemical-smell. It just smells refreshing and clean. I love this moisturizer, and I would recommend it to anyone. I seriously mean anyone! Buy it!

Firstly, I have combination/dry skin. I tend to oil up in my T-zone (as every other woman out there), but I am REALLY dry on the rest of my face, especially around my mouth and sometimes on the perimeter of my forehead. Secondly, I needed a moisturizer I could use before my makeup and I needed one that was water-based because my foundations are water-based. I tried this out because it's the most natural and one of the safest moisturizers I could find within my budget. I honestly would buy this again. The jar is quite small (it is 3 oz.), but I've had mine for 6 months. I don't use it every day, but if I did I would probably be on my second jar already. It's very light on the skin and absorbs very quickly. Before, I was used to only putting jojoba oil or maracuja as moisturizer, but I found out that that was probably a factor why my makeup didn't last long (water-based foundation + oil-based moisturizer = blahhhh). Oil based moisturizers feels more hydrating and lasts longer on my skin, so I didn't expect the same results from this one. I mainly use this for dry spots on the days I don't wear makeup and I also put this on my entire face on the days that I am using makeup. The reason why I gave this 4 stars is that I've noticed this winter that I have to put more for my dry spots because a few minutes after patting on one layer, some of my dry spots reappear, which is not cute. It is very emollient, but if your skin is extra dry, you will probably end up using a tiny bit more.

This past winter was pretty rough on my skin so I’ve been on the hunt for a moisturizer that wouldn’t upset my very sensitive skin and would feel nice under my make up. There were plenty of good options on Amazon so I really narrowed it down to moisturizers that had amazing reviews and I ended up choosing this one. I really had no idea if it would work for me because of my sensitive skin but I’m happy to say that so far it’s been amazing. I’ve been using it for a few days but the fact that it hasn’t upset my skin once is a really good sign. I love the scent and you really only need a small amount of product. A little goes a long way! At first I thought the product was way too small for the price but with only needing a small amount it should last a long time. I’m so happy the first moisturizer I tried ended up being just what I needed. It’s perfect for sensitive skin and wearing under make up! I’d definitely recommend this.

My face is generally oily so I was looking for something that would not add oily-ness to my skin. And this is it. I love how light it feels and it absorbs nicely into the skin. Does not leave a greasy feeling at all. The smell is so delightful. I wish Alba Botanica made a candle in this scent 🥰 this is a great product for those with oily skin or those looking for something oil free!

The most clean and soft feeling after using. Your face glows so nicely without it feeling greasy and heavy. Good ingredients as well.

I love this moisturize so much!!! It's super light, non greasy, and kind of a cross between a gel and a moisturizer! It has a very delicate lovely scent and dries to a Matt finish and just makes my skin feel so fresh and revitalized! It's also super high quality for the price....I’ve spent much more on moisturizers in the past from big brands that don't hold a candle to this one! I will definitely keep using this! I also have the eye gel, which I adore!!! TOTALLY RECOMMEND!!! ❤️❤️❤️

I like this Moisturiser as it is very fine and easy to apply! Unlike other types which can be quite thick and less smooth! Thankfully, I am able to buy here!
