Smartivity Robotic Mechanical Hand STEM Toy for Kids 8-14

My son got this as a gift for his 13-year-old friend. The kid loved it. Put it together quickly and plays with it often!

I gifted this and the pinball machine to my 8 year old cousin and he loved both! I helped him build the hand and the process ended up looking more complicated than it actually was. It was a great bonding experience and I enjoyed watching him use it to pick up various household items once we were done. I would say this is an age appropriate gift and a great alternative to screen time.

A lovely afternoon with my son spent building this, and it's now one of my 9 year olds most treasured possessions. It is very fiddly to put together, but the instructions are very clear. I would suggest leaving several hours to put it together. I was impressed with how it held his attention for so long, and he loved when we got something working, such as one of the fingers.

My nephew really enjoyed this toy. It’s fun to put together and keeps him busy while also teaching him a few things about how machines work. The instructions are easy enough to follow, and it feels like a much better option than a regular toy. Overall, a good buy for kids.

My son loved building this and although he usually loses interest after a toy has been build, this is something he still plays with after building. A very nice toy!
