Sadaf Dried Lime Whole - Limu Omani - Natural Dried Limes for Cooking - Persian Dried Limes - Add a citric flavor to your Middle Eastern dishes. 14-Ounce Bag.

I received a huge bag full of perfectly clean, fresh, dried whole limes. The fragrance when I cut open the bag was delightful! They are not the monster limes from the supermarket, these are the small round limes found in Middle Eastern cuisine. Dried limes (Loomi, Noomi Basra, Black Lime, Loomi Aswad) add a unique tart, citrusy, and slightly smoky flavor to stews, soups, rice dishes, grilled meats, and even salads. I even love breaking one in half and using in a glass of ice water or in tea. If you look online you can find the directions to make these into "Loomi" a powdered spice widely used in Middle Eastern cooking for deeply savory stews, imbuing them with a depth that no other ingredient can replicate. Excellent product, I highly recommend these for their authentic taste!!

Sadaf brand is really good for dried lemon. I cook variety of food using this tasty spice in the gravy or stew. I highly recommend it.

Don't be alarmed when you open the bag. They look like they’ve been rescued from a Victorian coal cellar or spent too much time listening to Bauhaus. They are rock hard and aggressively gray. But poke a few holes in these little goth citrus balls, throw them into a stew, and boom—sudden, magical, sour complexity. Just warn your guests before they think you’re boiling ping-pong balls from the 1920s.

This is my second or third time ordering it. I think it’s good value for money (the size of the bag is pretty big) and lasts us a good amount of time. We cook Kabsa frequently using 4-5 limes each time. Great flavor too. It is harder on the outside than dried black lime I have used in Qatar, so you have to pierce holes on both sides for the juices to come out and add flavor to the dish. When I forgot to pierce holes in them, there was no lime flavor in my dish.

My husband and I ate at a wonderful Middle Eastern restaurant in Brooklyn and had Loomi for the very first time. The drink was so refreshing and delicious that I asked them what was in it. When they told us, we decided right then and there that we had to have this in our life!I went on amazon to search because I was unable to find it in any of our local markets. This was the best deal by far. It i excellent quality. The drink we made taste exactly like what we had in the restaurant and I love the flavor profile so much, I am now exploring recipes for dishes that use it! It also came very quickly!

First time I’ve bought the big bag; didn’t think at this price, they’ll be as good as the smaller, more expensive Sadaf dried limes bags that I normally buy. I was surprised of the quality and size of the dried limes inside the bag. The lines are different sizes, few with dark spots but they taste great.

Best quality. I love sadaf brands. The prices are great

Good value and also the dried limes looked up superior quality. These are just absolutely necessary with certain meals and I'm happy that I was able to purchase through Amazon.

I always ordered this it's the perfect one

Flavour wasn’t as strong as I remember. Had to use a few to get a strong flavour. But very grateful for the convenience of getting it deliver next day to my door.

Great fragrance and flavour.

They were good however the price is very high and it doesn’t worth it.
