Yes, it will erase prismacolor pencils.

Are these the large size like description says? or is this a scam?

No these are SMALL - about 1.5" x 1" x 0.2". Not the 4x1x1.5 the description states - very misleading . Stacked one on top of each other total height is less than 1"

Are these hard or soft types? I am looking for rather hardish ones because the soft types do not stay in shape.
