Peter Green’s tour de force!
It’s clear Peter is just sitting down with Mayall for a cup of coffee ! What makes me say that? Just listen to the majesty of Supernatural does that sound like a guitarist only interested in playing in a Blues band? As far as I can tell Fleetwood Mac was already in this guy’s noggin as early as this record. Mayall is his usual competent self Father of British Blues though some would say it was Duster Bennettt ,he started his association with John McVie here and the two were obviously simpatico Mick Fleetwood was the touring drummer in place of Ainsley Dunbar he was sacked for drunkeness Mayall’s loss was Peter Green’s gain. He had the nucleus of Fleetwood Mac tight behind him
