Not a waste of money.
It looked good, felt good, and worked good. This was the first time I’ve tried one of these, and it worked great. I’m sure I made a wise choice. Happy bread baking!

Brilliant tin
I started making my own bread and it's mostly used for sandwiches so this was perfect. Does exactly what is says and is non stick! Very happy

How much dough to use?
Had to experiment a little to get correct amount of dough for tin. First attempts used too little resulting in quite cute little loaves with domed tips. Success today - I made dough with 450g flour and then used half to put in tin. Filled perfectly and resulted in a fantastic cubed shape loaf. And I can make one tomorrow with remainder of dough that I have kept in fridge. Delighted and will now experiment with other flours to plain white.

Love these cube tins
I LOVE these little tins, they produce such cute loaves and they’re a perfect size if you don’t want to make large loaves of bread. For the perfect size dough I use 250g flour.

Great size & shape - Expensive - Coating comes off and ruins food.
I bought this to have a tin that provide a small loaf but had big enough slices to do decent sandwiches and the size and shape of this one is great for that. I was reluctant with the price being so high but saw little alternative for this size and shape with all others of similar price and construction. After having this less than 2 weeks and having done 7 loaves (1x GFDF, 2x WW Sourdough, 4x GFDF Sourdough) the "non-stick" coating is severely coming off. I have been lightly oiling the insides of my baking tins. I recalculated proportions for this size tin and with the GFDF recipe tending to be quite runny there is a risk of it going over the edges a bit. Obviously I don't oil the tin exteriors and it's claimed to be non-stick anyway. As can be seen from the photographs where the dough has gone on the un-oiled areas such as through the stoma hole and where it has got on the outside of the tin the coating has come right off in chunks. You can also see it attached to the thin bits of dough. I have not used any tools / implements with it and only handle it by hand or with oven gloves on when hot. It is cleaned in the dishwasher and the description says it is dishwasher safe. Maximum temperature I have used with this tin is also a mere 175C. My other tins which are larger and from different manufacturers have had no problems even when being used at higher temperatures. Sadly I have not found a similarly sized suitable tin elsewhere as the others of similar design look like they are manufactured the same. Returning for a refund.
