I love these because it’s less plastic waste and super easy to install. They are also more cost effective than puchasing the full thing over and over again. Each refill lasts for about a month for two cats, so 6 lasts about six month. Can’t smell anything through them and they work the same as the full refills.

These are GREAT to use, with clumping litter ( only), when daily keeping their litter boxes clean. The refill is VERY easy to install. Directions are printed on the packaging. VEEERY, very important to "knot it" BEFORE using it!!!! Trust me, you do that, ONLY.ONCE. The only downside, is that, each sizes ( of refills) ARE NOT interchangeable with all models of Litter Genies. You MUST USE the correct ( sized) refill for the model that you own. BIG, big hassle if you don't ( OF WHICH, involves using duct tape). If you know, you know. 🤷‍♀️

I love the Litter Genie. It saves me a dozen trash bags a week, and makes the cat's bathroom smells better. The cartridge has good enough design, and the pull down bags are thick and great quality. It takes a minute to remove the litter filled bag, and install the new one. The only complaint I have are the cartridges are a bit expensive. My cat is very active and produce a lot. So a genie cartridge definitely does not last two months. But that's not a flaw in the product itself. So I still give this a 5 star. Another thing I haven't figure out is when the bag would run out. I don't keep track, or I lost track all the time. So I do cheat by using regular 13 gallon bags in the Litter Genie. Using the garbage bags is a good way to save, and it's always well stocked at home (if not, grocery bags can be used though a bit short). But the garbage bags are much thinner, get caught in the divider sometimes, does not shield odor as well, and cost a few minutes to install. So I still purchase the refill cartridge from Amazon. Because I'm not sure when the included bag would run out, I keep the empty cartridge ring and use it with garbage bags when I run out of included bags. Here's how I use the cartridge ring and included bags: Follow direction to install bag. Tie the bottom of the bag with a rubber band. Here's how I use garbage bags: Open up garbage bag. Install bag similar to original bag with the opening wrapped around the cartridge ring. Add a rubber band to secure garbage bag around the cartridge below the black top. One thing I do pay special attention to is when I install/remove bags on the Genie, I always wear disposable gloves. I remove litter and replace bags every week, but don't wash the Genie every week. Because there's no way to avoid litter coming into contact with the pail, I always try to play safe.

It’s good! No odor. I used third party refills and got odor. It’s easy to install.

The product was fine. My issue is with the delivery. Why put the package up on top of a plant stand so it could be seen from the street. Really?

I have had my cat/buddy, Toby since shortly after my husband passed away last year and I downsized. I had also experienced probably the worst thing that can happen to you after a knee replacement(wont go into details, but think someone put an IED into my leg). Because of that and the fact that although my unit is on the first floor, I need to walk up ten steps, so needless to say I can't take out my garbage. For a couple of months I cleaned out the litter into a plastic bag that went into the garbage, but there was a smell that I just could not take. I looked at the automatic litter cleaners, but reviews were mixed and I didn't want Toby getting caught in a moving rake thing. I figured I would give this a try. Haven't they had something like this for diapers for years? At first I thought it was no big deal, you scoop the clumps into the hopper and pull the spring door out the clumps drop and the spring door snaps back into place. After I started using it, there was an improvement in the smell of the garbage. My daughter comes a couple times a week to empty garbage but it takes longer than even two weeks to fill if you shake contents down. She wasn't able to get over when it was full so I went back to the plastic bags. I use a rollator so I would put the bag onto the tray scoop and bring the clumps up to tray height to deposit the clumps. Well, this became a disaster of sorts when the clumps fell towered the outer side of the bag and flipped the bag over, sending the clumps to the floor where they broke up. I realized that the height of this receptical is perfect and the clumps can't fall out. When the receptical is full, you just pull the bag out of the cartridge enough to cut it and tie it off. Then you just pull the plastic material out of the cartridge and tie it off the you are ready to go. It takes quite a long period of time with one cat and there is absolutely no odor. You just buy the receptacle and it comes with a beginner cartridge with the plastic material. Each regular cartridge lasts a good amount of time. I have been using this for about a year and I like the convenience and no odor!

These are our holy grail as the owners of three cats. It does seem pricey to spend $10 on plastic bags, but the design of the Litter Genie container and the quality of the bags do wonders to help reduce the smell of owning cats. We started with one cat and used a standard plastic litter box that we scooped daily using plastic grocery bags and would do full swaps semi-regularly. The cat distribution system assigned us two more cats, and we made the following changes: swapped from plastic to stainless steel litter boxes and scooper, started using a Litter Genie, full litter swaps at least once a week, and we bleach the litter boxes at least once every other week. Just using the Litter Genie and switching to stainless steel litter boxes alone has made an insane difference in reducing the unpleasant but unavoidable odor of owning cats. I like that Litter Genies aren't as wasteful in terms of plastic bags, as you can use the same bag for a few days instead of using one bag each day for cleaning. When we were gifted the Litter Genie, we were also given heavy duty refill bags. I couldn't bring myself to shell out the extra cash for heavy duty vs these, and these work just as well. Neither leak nor tear easily, but I do think the heavy duty traps the smell even slightly more, so we may purchase those moving forward. Regardless, we are obsessed with the Litter Genie and the improvement is has made for us.

I was skeptical at first about these but when I tell you it can hold over 2 weeks of cat poop and no one smells a thing! I have 2 1 tr old cats that I clean up after. These bags hold! Company notes that they can’t smell anything. The bags are sturdy asf too!

I especially liked the extra value and savings in buying this item in bulk. Works very well.

Easy to install (requires an old cartridge). Cheaper and better for the environment.

Good purchase. I did subscribe and save. That way I'm never left high and dry and run out. Excellent strength and yes they are scented enough to hold odor. Recommend

Una excelente opción para ahorrar respecto a los repuestos individuales. Cuesta un poco de trabajo ponerlos en el empaque y se debe hacer con sumo cuidado para no romper el empaque sin embargo nada a lo que no te puedas adaptar; un consejo, es más fácil si tienes ayuda de una segunada persona para cambiarlo. Fuera de esto todo excelente, además se reduce el uso de plastico de los empaques.

These liners fit really well, much better than others I have tried. The also don't catch on the cartridge, they pull out smoothly. Will be buying these again
