What is the thickness of this waffle? compared to the https://www.amazon.com/dp/b005po9uuc/ref=psdc_289942_t2_b01avwgbg8

I'd say they were about 3/4 inch thick. They are really cute. I had a cater to use ours and he said it did better than his professional grade one.

pictures 4 & 7 show the indent pattern of mickie (aka you can pour syrup IN the ears), the others show the outdent pattern. which one is it?

Yes a little bit. There is a little raised part in the middle of the ears but some syrup can be poured around that part, kind of like a moat. Hope that helps.

What is the difference between the mickey waffle maker and the classic mickey waffle maker? The classic is $7 cheaper...

The only difference is the look of the outer case. Do you prefer the classic look, with the "classic" Mickey and a stainless steel finish? Or do you prefer the pop of red and a more modern looking Mickey? Otherwise, the baking plates and size are exactly the same.

We have lost the buttermilk recipe for this waffle maker. Can you send me the recipe? It was our favorite.

I don’t know that recipe, but the one my children and family loves is: 1 cup bisquick 1 cup buttermilk 1 egg And I don’t measure the oil(I use olive or avocado oil, but have used canola oil before too) I’d guesstimate closer towards a tablespoon Hope your family likes this one, and we use 1/3 cup for measurement for dumping the batter in
