The charade of the house on the hill
Since i run dnd games, i can say this game is just great for role play lovers. I run COD 5e for a couple if years now. And I got to be the vampire betrayer and reveal this charade on our first game. So if this isn't meant to be I dunno what is. It's a great fun iteration for the original game and i highly recommend it for ant board game and dungeons and dragons fan

Very cool game - love the dungeon-crawler aspect and so many possibilities for the conclusion of the game. Very playable over and over.

Very fun game, but plays quicker than Betrayal. Great additon to any game shelf.

Dangit Bhaal, not again.
My wife and I had wanted to get Betrayal at House on the Hill for a while but hadn't gotten around to it due to how expensive board games can be nowadays. Finally, I saw this game at a decent (for board games like this) price and decided to get it, especially since my wife and I played through Baldur's Gate 3 twice and I've been a fan of the series since the first game and have read some D&D books around Baldur's Gate. I don't know how this compares to Betrayal at House on the Hill, but I can definitely say the game was incredibly fun to play with 3 players. I believe it would be even better with more, and I plan to find out when I invite some family over for game night!

Great game, fun for all and components great except for the figures
As stated if not for the very poor figures, this would be a 5 star review. Many are bent and permanently twisted so that they are not up to the par of D&D figures. The wizards staff is permanently bent so it looks more like a ball and chain and not a staff. The rogue is bent forward so she will barely stand. I actually used my D&D figures for them which makes it all better, but all don't have that luxury to have miniatures lying around to replace with. Other than those small complaints, the game is awesome and fun for all. If you like the original Betrayal and D&D then this is for you. .

Great for group games night
The original betrayal game was a hit when my brother in law when I found balders gate version I bought it same night you collect items and gain abilities it’s a lvl game between good guys and bad guys there are a lot of tactics that can cause unfair advantage in favor of the good guys but it’s fair and you have to be abusing items and abilities Med difficulty on learning good value

No Baldur's Gate Knowledge Necessary
We are huge fans of Betrayal at House on the Hill and have been playing for years. My friend loves the Baldur's Gate video game so we got this for him as a gift and he was stoked. We all played several rounds of this game together (even though most of us didn't know or have played Baldur's Gate at all). This is basically the same mechanics as original Betrauyl with some fun new skins and theming on the cards, haunts, etc. If you like Betrayal, I would recommend this new version. I hope they make more!

Fun Theme and Great to play with friends
It's a fantastic product. The cardboard is a good quality and has a nice matte texture. The provided miniatures are adequate (only slightly warped, but easily fixed with some hot water followed by a quick bath in ice water). Be somewhat careful with punching out the cardboard tokens, as sometimes the paper can rip. Also, during shipment, the box was bent in places, but that's more on packaging than the product itself.

Good range of haunts and very fun to play. Although the haunts seem simple for the traitor and work in favour of the heroes. Fun game and I highly recommend to those that love strategic adventure games. If you're looking for something similar but a bit tricker on the heroes I recommend 'Betrayal at House on the Hill' another Hasbro Game with slightly Harder haunts.
